That's a valid reason to start a thread, but I don't agree with it completely. Just because Wednesday is a character from a comedy, doesn't make her any less creepy or less of a straight example. I'm OK with the current, however, we could probably do creepier (either another pic of Wednesday, or a new character entirely- the twins from The Shining come to mind). The suggestion doesn't seem creepy to me though.
btw, use Wiki Words when giving a thread's subject, otherwise the article won't be tagged with a link to the discussion, and clicking the subject will redirect to the home page. You can edit the subject by clicking on the blue page icon on the top left corner of the OP. I fixed it.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Honestly, I'm not getting creepy from the suggestion...sly and/or mischievous more than anything.
Suggestion doesn't look creepy, it looks pleasant. Also the current isn't Played for Laughs as far as I know; Wednesday is definitely a (straight up) Creepy Child. (And it's more important that she looks creepy, anyway. I liked the one where she is wearing a black swimsuit next to a bunch of other girls wearing orange swimsuits, but oh well :) Previous thread: [1])

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Current is OK, though I'm sure we can find a creepier picture of Wednesday Addams.
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdThe current's very good; the suggestion just looks like a happy child.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Current doesn't excite me, but the suggestion isn't good.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerSome other Wednesday options, just for funsies:
- This one◊ gives me kind of an Omen-ish vibe
- Needs the demotivator cut away◊...too grainy?
- A crop of the second one?◊
Also, there's Oona◊ from Nancy

First one doesn't really have a creepy vibe for me, second is on par with the current. Third is good (see crop below); does it make me a bad person that I used to create makeshift guillotines for dolls?
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
Yeah, I guess the Remember 11 one is more creepy in context. I think the image in Telecontar's post would be a good choice for the Creepy Child article. Thanks you for the advice on posting bananasloth!
I like suggestions 1 and 3 in post #8.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. One or two more votes for Wednesday/Pugsley and we can run with it.

What about the unnamed "Weird Girl" from Frankenweenie?
here◊.
Way too stylized..."creepy" isn't what I get from that.
The current image is okay, but it's not the creepiest picture of Wednesday, and it's sort of low-quality.
How about this one◊ of the kid from Children Of The Corn. I think it's better because it actually shows a Creepy Child giving a creepy look, instead of one just kind of sitting there.
That's not bad, but I think I prefer the Wednesday/Pugsley a smidge more...should we crowner this?
I'm having trouble putting an age to him, for better or worse. The lighting makes his face look a whole lot older than it is.
Check out my fanfiction! When we saw Looper yesterday, they ran this trailer for a new horror film called Mama. The entire trailer's creepy as hell, but wait 'til you get to the kid at the table around the 2:18 mark...that smile was incredibly disturbing. I dunno if it would make a good candidate, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
wednesday/Pugsley/Guillotine is far and away my favorite of the suggestions so far.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. And there we have it. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged. Caption or no?
Nah, captions tend to detract from the image most of the time.
Disagree with that considerably. Actually, I'm a little disappointed at the number of images we're letting go by without any captions.
Don't have any suggestions, though, so not like I'm helping in this regard.
Moon◊
I was just wondering if this image from Remember 11 would be appropriate for use in the Creepy Child article. The article's current example is Played for Laughs, and isn't an example played straight preferable (if I understand correctly)? I am new (you probably can tell) so I am sorry about any mistake I may have made (such as if this is a legitimate reason to post).
