Honestly, I think you'd be better off waiting and finishing the whole project. If you're going to put something out there, do everything you can to make it the best it can be — and if you're anything like me, you'll end up changing your earlier parts dramatically. Best to get everything the way you want it well before you show anything off, IMO; it might save you a little trouble later.
If you're dead-set on showing something off, why not make a teaser or something? You could write or draw a prequel or side story (or make a You Tube video of a trailer — I've heard writers do that every now and then), and it could have plenty of beneficial effects. You could generate interest in your story at large; you could gain a new perspective on what you've written, and where you need to go; you can fill in blanks, even ones you haven't thought of; you could get a change of pace that'll refresh you for the big project; the list goes on.
But I suppose it comes down to what you want to do. If you think you can handle showing off your planned arcs now and everything related, that's fine — don't let me get in your way. Just make sure that whatever you do, you're 100% ready to put your best foot forward.
Hope that helps you out. Good luck to you.
My Wattpad — A haven for delightful degeneracyThanks for the advice. Though I must admit, I'm still leaning towards releasing the parts of my project that works for now. I just thought I can get insight on more underlying consequences. I know, after a reboot, some potential readers would need to go through a few things over again. But I don't think that part is too much of a big deal.
Help?.. please...Ooh I just remembered a major reason why I chose to go this way! To trademark all my best ideas so no one can accuse me of ripping something off that hasn't came out when I first wrote it MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
On about chapter 15 so far and getting to the better parts.

Help?.. please...Nobody cares about your idea. Just write the damn story.
I got up to chapter 15 without writing? BY THE GODS!
Help?.. please...What do you want to do with this project, exactly? If you just want to end up posting it online then it could well be worth releasing it in installments, as this would allow you to get some early feedback. If you actually wish to get it professionally published, however, I'd suggest not posting any of it: publishers are usually reluctant to take on anything which has already been released elsewhere
Hi, excuse the Buffy Speak. Anyway, my issue is basically that I have most of my story figured out already, but I'm still piecing together almost half of it.
So I thought of releasing and showing off my current project as the few Story Arcs I already planned and show it off. But it will have unanswered questions and stuff. Then when I'm ready, I'll reboot the whole thing, to complete it. Adding a proper introduction, arcs I were previously iffy about and providing answers I hadn't before the reboot.
So does anyone think there's anything wrong with this idea? Should I wait until I complete the entire project? Suggestions?
