Was reading a thread on Neo GAF with the same subject and thought, why not post it here?

So yeah, what are the best extra stuff you got in a CE? For me, they're usually a waste of money (*cough* Mass Effect 3 *cough*) but I love finding a really good one that fits with a games themes or aesthetic.

Like the CE for Bioshock 2 that comes with an honest to god vinyl disc. Or the recent Borderlands 2 CE that comes in a repilca of a loot chest (dog sadly not included).

I got the pendant that came with the Working Designs release of Lunar Eternal Blue Complete and still have it; it's heavy brass but perfectly wearable without being blatently nerdy to anyone not in the know.

[up]I'm very happy to say I have that! grin

I like getting soundtracks with games, and also stuff that characters wear in the games. For example, I have a replica of Leon Kennedy's RPD badge, that I got for ordering Resident Evil The Darkside Chronicles, and Junpei's hat from Persona3.

One thing I would like is Professor Layton's hat!

I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency

For chose who ordered the collector's Edition of Command & Conquer Red Alert 2, they got the soundtrack CD, a making-of DVD including all of the game's cinematics, concept art, and a chrome 4-inch statue of either the Chrono Legionnaire or the Tesla Trooper. (I got the Chrono Legionnaire in my box).

Another worthwhile Collector's edition I bought was possibly Fallout 3, since it gave you a neat-looking Vault-Tec lunchbox, a Pip-Boy bobblehead, an artbook, and the soundtrack.

The Legend Of Zelda Collector's Edition that was released with a certain batch of copies of Mario Kart Double Dash. Perhaps not very swagtastic, but certainly very very cool.

The Halo: Reach collector's edition was pretty cool. The book and trinkets were pretty neat, and the packaging, both the case the whole thing came in and the black bubblewrap bag with the unique sticker, were pretty cool as well.

I liked the book the Alan Wake collector's edition came with. Saints Row 2 collector's edition bullet flash drive and money clip were nice also.

Fallout New Vegas is the coolest one I know of. Comes with a box of special playing cards, chips from the casinos in the game, and a replica of the main MacGuffin in the game.

Damn it, now I want a little Daschund.

Is it weird that I'm pretty excited about the X-Com badge that is comign in my Collector's Edition of X-Com: Enemy Unknown? I'm going to try and hunt down a second badge and then source a plain (but rugged) jacket so I can have an X-Com jacket. And then maybe find someone to embroider in rank bars/insignia and what have you.

Also, I love artbooks. Blizzard ones are especially cool, but it certainly does not need to be limited to theirs.
