Carly Pope joins the cast as Susan Williams
She is a reporter from Coast City; in the comics Susan Williams is Hal Jordan's sister-in-law since she married his younger brother Jim.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThey really are throwing everyone into the new season aren't they?
But is it organic?
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Really starting to hate that word.
Hoping they have a good plan for all of these new characters, because it would huge misfire given what they did to the old ones.
Given the last two seasons?
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Wasn't familiar with Carly Pope so I looked her up. Turns out she was in a tv show called Popular in which she starred along side Leslie Bibb who appeared in the Iron Man movies as Christine Everhart.
I love it when we can connect actors in DC and Marvel properties like this
Pretty much. Going to assume the guy doesn't know it means, because "organic" is the last word I would use to describe them.
So did Oliver ever keep his promise to Taiana to seek out her family and tell them what happened to her? Like we never even see a flashback of him doing that at all.

He's heading to Russia in the next set of flashbacks.
Presumably that's also how Oliver became a member of the Bratva, as alluded to in Seasons 1 and 3.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Cody Rhodes is gonna play somebody in this new season of Arrow.
I feel ashamed that Arrow has done something that in no way hints at better writing, yet has gotten me excited.

"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Hmmm...
So the Green Arrow and Stardust will face off again eh?
Maybe I'll get some entertainment out of it, but until then, fuck you anyway Arrow.
And I mean that, from the bottom of my heart.
One Strip! One Strip!I might watch the fight scenes when they pop up on You Tube though, if they get an actual choreographer.

Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Ok. I probably should have put a Joking Mode pothole there.
I really didn't mean that. I mean, while I don't expect much, I do think him being there is cool, especially after Amell took on Stardust and King Barret along side Neville last year (I think it was last year, though I'm not sure).
One Strip! One Strip!Oh you're fine. If anybody should apologize, it's me for being such a pain. Sorry guys.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Done and done.
Honestly, they really need to give Felicity her humanity back.
The episode after the nuke was just all kinds of wtf.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Season 3 made Felicity obnoxious.
Season 4 made her irredeemable. Hence my desire to hit the Cosmic Retcon switch.
One thing thing that seriously needs to be explained is why nobody on Team Arrow treats Malcolm's Mind Rape drugs like a big deal. Because there has been ZERO explanation for Oliver and co just shrugging their shoulders at it.

That's the sad part. They have the perfect chance to fix the show with an easy explanation, but it's doubtful that they'll go for it.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here? Can't really "fix" it with something in-universe. Sure small events we dislike could be rewritten, but the overall quality of the action scenes and the handling of certain characters will still be the same. Flashpoint can't really change that.
The only way to fix Arrow would be to get a new writing staff, a new choreographer, or to get back whichever writers left to work on the other shows.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Cross your fingers and say your prayers, kids.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Ooh, almost too good to be true.
Personally, I honestly don't know what could fix Arrow at this point. But I do have one question (which I'm sure has been asked before): What exactly is up with the hate for Felicity these days?
Once upon a time (or two seasons ago), people were praising Felicity Smoak, saying that she was one of the best characters on television and one of the best things about Arrow. Now I see nothing but this venomous hatred for her. I mean, I get not liking the character but to make her the poster child for the MANY writing issues in Arrow seems a tad extreme to me.
Also, I keep seeing people on different parts of the internet calling her relationship with Oliver "extremely toxic","forced", and even "emotionally abusive", being compared to Twilight of all things.
I have trouble understanding this. The only truly awful Felicity moment I can think of is when she berates him for excluding her in his decision to say goodbye to him. In fact, this honestly the only time that I was actually on Oliver's side and felt he had every right to be the wallowing, self-pitying whiny protagonist that he usually is. But to be honest, this was the terrible subplot that completely derailed Arrow for me and it was at this point the series jumped the shark.
Still, I have trouble seeing this as an abusive relationship. I would even say calling it "forced" is debatable considering it's been hinted at since Season Two. Badly written, though? Yes, among many other Arrow-related things.
x2 That could either be really good or really bad. Either way, my curiosity will get the best of me.

It's sad that I can see that happening.
Yep. Season 3 all over again.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?
