Why does that character even exist when DC already has Merlyn? He's an archer and assassin. Isn't that what Merlyn is, too?

It also has multiple guys who fly and fight crime. There's more to a character than his weapon choice.

The fact that Arrow's version of Merlyn has very little in common with his comic counterpart helps.

We don't know the last name it might not be Smoak we only know the first name.

But it turns out a lot of other fans thought the same thing.

Devon Aoki is no longer playing Katana instead Rila Fukushima will play Katana.

Fukushima replaces Devon Aoki, who was originally cast in the role but pulled out because of a scheduling conflict.

I bet Marvel offered her more money in order to steal her away.

That's probably true, actually, knowing Marvel.

Samuel L. Jackson took a pay cut to be Nick Fury on Agents of SHIELD, no reason Liam couldn't do the same.

As someone who's impatiently waiting for season 2 to show up on Netflix, did they establish that superpowers are a thing in season 2 or are they gonna establish that in season 3?

Also, I too have heard about Liam willing to be Ra's Al Ghul just now. Hmmm, might actually be interesting to watch.

Uh... sorta. Very limited superpowers. Nothing on Flash's level, though.

Coconut Superpowers, maybe.

Nah. Part of Coconut Superpowers is that they have to be clearly and visibly restrained by budget. That wasn't really the case here.

If Ra's comes back, I want his disguise to be Good Cop, not just the voice, the mannerisms. And maybe later when he's exposed, he can say something to Ollie like, "I don't suppose we can settle this over donuts?"

The superpowers seen were limited to lowish level superstrength, a healing factor and enhanced resilience.

Basically low level wolverine mixed with MCU Captain America.
