You should probably put "in" in red; I'm not certain that's correct, and I can't see it clearly enough to make anything else out.
Fixed it. Anyone got anymore ideas to roll with?

Maybe if you put the pictures in a different order, the overlay may seen different.

A little update which is probably not important right now. I've done everything I could assemble from the comicbook shards (I didn't touch those that are pretty obvious), including that picture that reads "User: WTF Average Joe" - yes, it is indeed real. I have no idea what are we to make of it, though.
On the URL, I'd advise to brute-force it now. Minds and - what? I've tried "monsters", "mirrors", "mysteries", "masters"... Won't do any more good. G'night people, and don't you dare solve it without me.
(The timeline is stale for now... Maybe later)
UPD: Uhhh.... No? [1]

The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries.Haha I hope not. Also, when you check the sites see when they were last updated. Unless it was in the last few months, it probably isn't a part of the game.
"mind" might not even be correct, the space between the M and the D is VERY vague and messy looking. The main thing that's got me is that by now I've used all but three pieces of paper. The three I haven't used don't seem to fit with the others or themselves, so I don't even know what to do with those...

Oooh, looks like Poirot has taken up a missing person's case. Linky here.

"I don't know how I do it. I'm like the Mr. Bean of sex." -DrunkscriblerianWell then, keep crackin'. I've already exceeded my waking limit. =(
(That "WTF Average Joe" picture just bugs me)
Just one more link...
I just can't help thinking Poirot is a freaking red herring. I know he's official, but there's literally nothing we acquired from him!

The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries. How many letters do you think that there are in the URL?
Can you slot this image◊ in anywhere? It seems to be the clearest/most complete of the ones that don't appear to be there already. Can't see obvious matching points, though.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. It's a reasonable bet that that's the end of the URL, so we're looking for a ".co/", which is pretty rare.
There is at least one other url piece with .co in it. However, the two images don't ever seem to line up correctly, and neither fit with the main image we have so far, not well anyway.
As for the length of the url, this could be a very long one if every piece is used. 20+ letters I'd imagine. One piece in particular, Riffer's, is what leads me to believe this. His url is by far the longest piece.

Another build attempt, this time using ones that end in .co towards the end of the image.◊
Due to overlap, some of the earlier letters are faded and really hard to see, but the new pieces added had no effect on them otherwise, so i left the guesses for them the same.

The URL looks like an anagram of administrator.
EDIT: The first bit at least.

Marching on together. That "n" before the "s" is probably an "r". The "G", I think, is actually an "e". And that looks like an "o" before the "g.co/".
EDIT:Hmmm... going by that theory... "minds a traitor" is an anagram of "administrator"*. Could that work?
edited 28th Sep '12 2:55:25 PM by JackAlsworth
Could the word after 'and' be 'masters' perhaps? I don't think traitor works, mostly because the evidence from the url seems to indicate an 'm' after 'and', or at least a letter with 'shoulders' like an 'n' I certainly don't see a t following it

Gah, I hate having to wait ten minutes to post. Could be, google it. Is there a list of google services with links? If it is g.co at the end of the second bit it's a link for a google product.

Marching on together."g.co/" is only a Google thing if there's something after it, like "g.co/hurdygurdy". It's a URL shortener.
"Minds a traitor" didn't turn anything up.
Instead of t?ns could it be t?nrs?

Marching on together.Hmmm...◊ I think we're getting closer, but i still can't get any reasonable results from google. I increased the contrast of the top image to hopefully make it easier to see the letters for you guys.
Mindsandmatters.GZ I think. Not sure about the rest
Marching on together.I'm not quite convinced the first word is "Minds" though.
"I don't know how I do it. I'm like the Mr. Bean of sex." -DrunkscriblerianNeither am I, but unless I get some other piece of URL that fits in between those two letters, I got no idea what those letters could be. Keep talking this through, people, it has helped.
Matters could be Mutters too, now that I'm looking at it. or it could be neither of those cause I could be way off! ><
Yes.

Would now be a bad time to mention that the comic page with the cat has the same sort of encoding in the speech bubble?

"I don't know how I do it. I'm like the Mr. Bean of sex." -DrunkscriblerianMaids and Mentors?
So from what we have it could be broken up in two ways mind/sand/m?????? minds/and/m??????
