How's this?

"Centering" it would mean including the portion of the speech balloon that I cropped off. It only took me a few seconds to do with the Paint program. -_-
It's not like the original is exactly centered in the first place either. The girls are just off balance like that.

![]() No, the other one.
Why? I think it emphasies the difference in size, which makes it more artistically interesting as an image, as well as pointing out that there's a contrast beyond just hair colours. I prefer the off-centre version.

I sit corrected on a static pic not really working for this. The last version works for me, but it could stand to be downsized a bit.

A quick-and-dirty resize at 275 wide is still legible, so I'd say that would be good.

Is the text particularly important? Because it's getting a bit difficult to read in ![]() No, the other one.
Not really.

It's not essential, but I think it adds to the context of the scene. I took a stab at combining the big and small versions that removes the toning at the top and corners...is it more legible?

And the kissing and the heart and the relaxed atmosphere doesn't?

I think the pic in post #18 works nicely.

A duo (often a romantic couple) whose contrasting hair colors signify their opposing world-views.
This is the most important part of this trope. It's not always romantic, it's not always Lesbian, but the contrast in hair colors does signify their opposing worldviews.
Any picture has to show this part.
