I keep hearing the 1989 Batman theme in that Timesplitters clip.
Anyway, here's one of my favorite dialogues:
Just JC and a random bartender discussing philosophy. I love that about the first Deus Ex, and the best part is that the game doesn't tell you which side is supposed to be right or wrong, it's just two guys having a debate, stating their opinions, and letting you come up with your own conclusions. Admittedly, I laughed really hard the first time I saw the scene, because of how it delves into Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness near the end, but the fact that a game is willing to delve so deep into philosophy is refreshing, even if it is a bit unrealistic for such a conversation to take place in real life.

Pursuant to the first post, which I somehow skimmed over and missed the point of, my earlier post was Cave Johnson of Portal 2.
The dialogue is decently realistic, considering that the two guys are shown to be intellectuals on at least some level. Can't say they're being so verbose as to be ridiculous. They'd have to use bigger words for it to be more unrealistic.
I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes.Yeah, that scene does get ridiculous in the end. It goes from the guy having a simple pro-government side and defending China's authoritarian style, then suddenly into pure political philosophy around the last to text prompts.
From Saints Row IV: There's two many moments in this game to count, but one has to be near the end of one of Pierce's Loyalty Missions, as he and The Playa (i.e. you, the player-character) are jamming out to Biz Markie's "Just a Friend". As you two reach a fever pitch, Affably Evil destroyer of earth Zinyak bursts in note in full operetta mode. Then the moment becomes uncomfortably awkward as everyone tries to turn Zinyak off. Following an uncomfortable Beat, the Playa angrily decries "Zinyak fucked with Biz Markie!" Following another awkward Beat, Pierce mournfully declares "Man, now I can't unhear Zinyak!" [[/spoiler

Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!
