Are there any other tropers playing this game? It's a F 2 P MMOFPS, and well, using zen (real money is converted to this, PWE's currency) would just mean you can get certain items earlier (or would not need to play that often to get them in the first place as GP is earned through play).

I'm having fun playing it and the game engine is surprisingly good, the graphics look good especially in DX 11. It takes a heavy toll in terms of performance if your system can't handle it well though...

I thought that, from the name, this would be a Prototype fan game. I'm disappointed

I began playing it, once I got burned out by Tf2 and I like it a lot. Graphics are good, and I love the over-all Cyberpunk aesthetics.

The game is decently balanced for free-to-play game (nowhere near perfect of course, but certainly better than most Ft P games) and its in-game shop system is one of the best I encountered. Plus HRV really change the dynamics of the game, offering quite bit of uniqueness in what would be your basic cookie-cutter FPS.

[up]Yeah, the HRV really sets it apart. Some portions of the maps are weird physics-wise though. For example grenades can sometime bounce off what seems to be a big enough opening for you to throw grenades through it.

And I just reached Level 23 now. lol I'm almost always playing Pure Helo Deck now. More exciting, and more "fast-paced" because the map is small. For comparison's sake, it's rare for a TDM match in Offshore to reach a 90-88 score, while it usually happens in Helo Deck when both teams are really good.

I've played it a bit, on and off, but I suck too much at FPSs to be at all decent at it.

And I can't remember half the buttons...

I've downloaded it, but patching keeps failing again and again.

[up]Patching fails or patching is slow?

I've been playing this game for a while. Haven't in a while since my computer has been completely broken for the last month or so. I wish there were more levels though, after hitting 35 a while back, all that EXP I earn now feels wasted.

Hypervisor...it's the ability that allow you to see through walls and such...

I remember download it and uninstalled because the patcher is slow as hell (it practically didn't move)...guess I'll be trying again when my desktop is repaired...

Yeah patching is slow generally, but only the initial one would take the longest.

But yeah, even the newer patches are slow. lol

I'm level 23 now so these screenshots would be quite old now: here and here

I left my computer on when I'm going to sleep since patching took so long. Then the patcher close itself for no reason after 1-2 hours.

I hate the noobs (a higher level does not necessarily mean you are no longer a noob) who keeps on playing ALL of the modes like it's TDM. You can see some of them in the screenshots (both of which were DOM matches). LOL

It's even more infuriating when they're in a Pure CTF or Pure DOM game. WTF???

Almost a great comeback (it was 45-64 at one point).

I just downloaded and played this game for an hour. It's pretty nice so far. The Cynical Brit named it one of his favorite games of 2012, so that has to mean something.

I played it again briefly last December (patching is still a huge issue for many players, and I'm quite busy with another online game lol), and a lot has changed since October LOL. It was an example of still having fun even with the changes made. I think it's one of the few instances where adding more (there are a few more weapons, as well as new maps, as well as player-hosted game servers) did not dilute the 'fun factor' of those they kept intact.
