Back to AOT, how do you think the series will ultimately conclude? For that matter, I'm still wondering when Annie will be released from her crystal.

I honestly think that's impossible to say. All I know that it likely won't end with everyone dying since Isayama said that he's made the ending happier than the one he originally planned and that's more or less the darkest ending possible (we'll, it could possibly be darker than that if you get into some seriously deep shit but who knows).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! They do look kinda derpy. For me that just makes it look more disturbing though
@Loraenn: I think most of those questions are filed under the "we still don't really know" bin.
Yeah, I figured. I've forgotten so much I don't even know what I don't know. Curse you, monthly manga.
On another note, does anyone wonder what'll happen with Reiner's promise to rescue Historia? I'm assuming neither he nor Ymir know she took the throne. Do they even know she's a Reiss?
Spoilers are leaking. VAGUENESS IS COMING.
- Everyone RUNS LIKE HELL, but Bertolt sees Reiner and jumps out to check on him. Reiner is still alive, it seems like some explanation is given?
- Tense stand-off begins, but Armin starts shouting to him and the two yell back and forth before meeting in the middle. They start talking, people say that apparently Bertolt tells Armin something that confuses/makes him doubt.
- Mikasa tries to kill Bertolt, disrupting the talks and sending Bertolt running. He swings high up and transforms, while everyone runs for cover and an enormous mushroom cloud rises above the city.
- Armored Titan lying on his back, protecting Reiner as his head begins to regrow in a gruesome fashion.
- Everyone looks on in horror as the Colossal Titan begins standing up.

Raws are out. Looks like the above post was pretty much accurate.
Don't run,Reiner's your friend.
Secret SignatureOh Shit! Bertholdt's found his spine! We're all fucked now!
He actually kicked Mikasa off the roof didn't he? I didn't imagine that part at all right?
One Strip! One Strip!I'm surprised at how combat capable regular Bertholt is.
He's obviously been training since the last time we saw him.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."And he was one of the top rankers too. He just lacked the confidence to fight to his full potential.
What was his rank again? I know Mikasa was #1 and Eren was 5, with Bertholdt, Reiner and Annie taking the other three spots. I can't remember what they were however.

One Strip! One Strip!Reiner was 2nd with Bertolt and Annie directly behind him. Clearly their village training, whatever it was, paid off.
...is Hange dead?!

Doubtful.
Gotta love that tactical shifting action. Bert's gone nuclear.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyIn this chapter, Bert became a badass.
Fuck'em up, Bert!
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."I'm wondering if any major character can die in this story. I just might rejoice if it even happens.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm totally bookmarking this post for later.
I do hope Hange survives though.
Holy crapβ¦
Wasn't Eren's house's basement destroyed in that explosion?Β Γ².Γ
Depends on where the house actually is.
And... Holy crap, things are getting absolutely crazy. Bert really stepped up his game, here.
Alright, here's the main thing everyone will be wondering at this point: How do the heroes get outta this one? Most if not all of Hange's team is dead, Reiner is slowly regenerating and Bert sure as hell won't let anyone near him, Eren's probably worn out from the brawl, and while we have seen Bert's Titan form is a Mighty Glacier that is slow as balls, he's probably got other tricks to make up for that. And Levi's too busy protecting the horses to rush to help, unless he decides to defy orders all of a sudden, which I doubt. And if Hange is still alive, she's probably incapacitated.
Basically, it's gonna come down to the former 104th trainees to turn things around.

Nice to see a bit of Character Development for the big guy. I agree that the "transfer your consciousness into the titan's brain" trick and the "I'm just going to unleash a massive explosion while I transform" trick in the same chapter are a bit too much, but as long as antagonists do it I won't complain too much. :P
I can't wait to see all these new arcs animated. I hope they get the pacing right...
Titan shifters seem to have powers normal titans don't beyond being intelligent.
When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons. So titan brains do have a purpose, at least in shifters. But yah your nerves don't have anywhere near that amount of band length
So basically, he's much more of a visual director. Makes sense that he'd want someone like Anno to help him out (even though it took delaying the already postponed Eva 3.0 + 1.0 to do so).
I have a feeling that he's doing most of the work on the film as of now, since the movie is currently in post-production, meaning special effects work. It'll be interesting to see what he brings to the table.
