Popping in because this is a thing that has happened.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Cool.
Formerly KarmaMeter.Likely because of all the crap Polaris pulled in recent weeks. Instead of basically sticking up for their members any video with an issue gets marked private and the disaster that is the 'Polaris civil war'
That's it then. Maker is now as infamous as Youtube! There's nowhere to run!
Heh, they tried to account for the time gap between the recording and upload of the episode and undershot it.

So the Shovel Knight co-op play has to be the most I've been laughing while watching in a while.
.... so wait. Table Flips is cancelled??? Holy hell! I wonder what went down with that show! Who had the idea to have it be exclusive to Sling anyway??
Meanwhile, in the Mario Maker playthrough, Dan and Arin's HoYay skyrockets to new levels. On one hand, I feel like they might just be teasing the fans. On the other hand, the Game Grumps are some of the most sincere-sounding people I've ever seen, so it's really hard for me to believe they were lying about it...
I've got Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash, Spyro, and Paper Mario fanfics.I admire the strength of their friendship on epic bro-tastic levels. They can both laugh at dirty humor and unfunny jokes and I can enjoy it too because I know they do!
I feel like there must actually be at least some Unresolved Sexual Tension between those two, or else they wouldn't joke about it with quite the frequency they do (Assuming, of course, they're not just totally playing it up on purpose to please a certain part of their fanbase). People like to joke about things that make them uncomfortable just to, y'know, diminish the discomfort of the thing.
I've got Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash, Spyro, and Paper Mario fanfics.Nah, the Hoyay is just a marketing tool to get people viewing. Saying stuff like that makes them money.
Youtubers know it too, for example Jesse Cox actually read part of a slash fic about him and Total Biscuit on a video to increase the hoyay and see TB's lutz reaction to some Yaoi Fan Girl's imagination.

I think you're both wrong — I'm pretty sure they just genuinely find those jokes funny. Not because homosexuality is funny (or at least I should hope that's not why), but because they're such close platonic friends that the idea of them banging is just amusing to them.
"We're home, Chewie."Well, I don't pretend to know the personal lives of people I've only seen on goofy internet videos, but I feel like the idea of there being Unresolved Sexual Tension between Arin and Dan is at least possible. I mean, even accounting for the fact that they're almost always clearly joking, they still bring up the idea of having sex with each other constantly. Apparently, not only do they think the idea of them having sex is funny, they think it's so funny that they need to always be talking about it. And thinking about it. And then reminding each other and the audience that they're totally comfortable joking about it because they're "bros."
And then comes this latest Mario Maker episode, where (if we believe their story is true and not just something they made up to please the fans), they started "jokingly" holding each other before realizing that there was no one else around, so the need for a "Just Joking" Justification was gone. They don't really say what happened after that, but I'd assume they just kinda awkwardly backed away from each other once they realized they were alone (I'm sure some people will have, uh, different theories, though).
So then when the episode starts, Danny starts recounting the story, in his words, "just to say this out loud." That implies to me that it was something he was somewhat uncomfortable about, and it was still on his mind however-many-minutes-later when they started recording. And so to make himself feel better about it, he explained the story to the audience, thus creating a third party so the "Just Joking" Justification could be re-asserted. And then Arin, sensing his discomfort, said reassuringly, "Whatever, that's what bros do." And then Danny mumbled, "Yeah, bros do that all the time," which may or may not have been sarcastic.
I dunno. I feel like it isn't reading too far into it to think maybe they do have feelings for each other, and they just deal with those feelings by constantly joking about them. Again, I'm not saying this is definitely true, but I think it's a plausible theory, at least.
...And that's not even getting into "the D Club."

I've got Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash, Spyro, and Paper Mario fanfics.- Arin's story of how he got his first voice-acting gig was through a contest held by a con in LA where he entered for the role of Bruce Banner and won. Thing is, he was in Florida at the time. So the con FLEW HIM OUT TO LA (how tough is it to do that in 2016?).
- That was also the time Arin bought a cel phone for the first time even though it was a cheap, old, dollar store flip phone with like 50 minutes loaded onto it.
- Arin is in at least 3 upcoming major voice-acting gigs but he can't talk about them because of ND As.
- He also recommended Dan for a role!
Here's (allegedly) the audio of Arin voicing Bruce Banner. Sadly, the audio is distorted a bit since he's supposed to be talking over a radio, so I can't really tell it's him. It's still really cool that he's in the (PSP and DS versions of) the game, though.

I've got Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash, Spyro, and Paper Mario fanfics.Since I can't find a topic for this, the second Ninja Sex Party cover music video, covering "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears For Fears is out. I think this cover might actually be better than the original song. And the music video itself is very cool.

I've been watching the Mario Maker stuff. It's honestly refreshing to see Arin be competent at the game and lose because of legitimately insane difficulty instead of him being bad.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I keep forgetting to mention this but it's touching to see Arin guide Dan, a newbie to modern CGI games who has trouble with perceiving 3D space in gaming anyway, patiently try to beat Portal 2 all the way through. And today they finally did!
Maybe they'll play the co-op dlc also.
Formerly KarmaMeter.I wonder how long before we get a Twilight Princess playthrough?

Cross that, looks like they are starting Ocarina of Time today.

why? they never finished LBW a game that Arin isnt fucking salty over. There's only so much Sodium my body can handle.
I'm pretty sure Arin's main beef with OoT is that it's a flawed game that's overhyped to hell and treated as a Sacred Cow, not that it's terrible.
He'd probably be more salty about Skyward Sword.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?He certainly is. In that Sequilitis, he called Ocarina flawed and reliant on thing he felt weren't as good as in ALTTP, but he still said he's okay with differering opinions.
In contrast, he rails hard against Skyward Swoed, comparing it to a rich kid with no merits who's riding on the coattails of people he's associated with in an attempt to have people like him.
And he hates bomb bowling.

I have a message from another time...
Any reason given as to why they left Polaris?
