Francis Sparkle seems to be the FIW version of Shining Armor. The band's bio even says that "His sister is none other than Celestia's favorite student and #1 fan, Twilight Sparkle."

Also... BBBFF's musical career is managed by the brilliant and mysterious billionaire Dr. Dragonshy, who hoards away all the band's finances where it can be kept safe. Said band member Ben Tenderheart, "I don't know what we'd do without Dr. Dragonshy... he's always been just like a father to me - the world's best dad."

I wonder how they took the news of their manager's sudden death and mysterious resurrection.

Everyone in Ponyville seems to know about FS's cult. They just don't care.

It seems as though SherclopPones has followed completely in the footsteps of the original Abridged Series, as Hasbro has now blocked all FiW videos in the US (except for episodes 2 and 7 for some reason).

It's amusing how drastically it contrasts with the original show.

I got an e-mail from Sherclop Pones, asking if I want to be credited in the episode. I donated 10€ to them during one of their livestreams. It says that the episode will be out any day now.

edit: Their exact words are "we're about to release Episode 8".

All in all, I say Newt Pipington British-Hooves, Cadence Not-Evil Goodpony, and (of course) Spike the Dragon got screwed.

Also according to the newspapers snow is banned. I wonder if that will get referenced when they get around to abridging Winter Wrap Up.

I just noticed, Raincloud was in Twilight's song-flashback.

EDIT: Raincloud appears just when Twi finds Shining Armor/Francis Sparkle abandoned at her doorstep.

No, I think Twilight just made that up/convinced herself it was the case. All while brainwashing Francis.

I don't understand what was unclear about the scenario. Cadence never did anything bad, but Twilight hated her because she was jealous. That was the whole joke.

Well while I found the show funny at first it's gone the way of Family Guy for me. It still makes me chuckle but I dislike the characters too much to enjoy it. Heck, I actually came up with a topic for a short story: Celestia finally gives up on Equestria trying to get by with the mane six along, then brainwashes Fluttershy and the entire "cult" to forget about Smooze, gives Luna her title back, de-brainwashes Francis, releases Cadance, and lures Twilight into that featureless void they were in in the finale under the guise that she'd become a princess for real...then leaves her there with no way to get back.
