I'm looking for any tracks that are somewhat long, have limited or effective vocals that don't get in the way of the instruments, and immursive. I'll take any type of music, but I'm looking for Celtic, folk, and orchestral tracks in particular. Thanks.

Wow, "Hinba" sounds awesome. Thanks for linking to it, I definitely need to listen a bit more of that band.

But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.

This album is practically nothing but atmospheric instrumental in the progressive metal style. The keyboards make some incredibly spacious textures that essentially form the backbone of the songwriting.

E.S. Posthumus fits your bill.

You might want to try checking out some soundtracks. Pan's Labyrinth's soundtrack sounds like it's right up your alley.

Ar Nasc Fola by Suidakra is pretty nice. Tempest's stuff is all AMAZING, but most of it is too active to be good atmosphere.

Just about anything from LOST

Looking back, I think the music was one of the biggest draws of the show when I first got into it. And a reminder that even after all the BS near the show's end, it did manage to produce some remarkable things.
