Kix was a swineherd before he was educated and brought into the military by his uncle. After rising through the ranks, his uncle became King, before dying and leaving the throne to Kix. Then, he died as well, but he was brought back to like with black magic (which isn't that bad, trust me, I know, but it does taint one's soul after enough use, which isn't that good either), and is now NegaKingKix.
