I must say, I agree. This feels like it's just begging to be hit by trolls at some point - and whatever they do might not even be out of place, honestly.

It's been around for ages and never been a problem, far as I can see. Move it to Just for Fun/ — it isn't a trope and was never meant to be. It's often amusing or interesting.

I'm fine with moving it to Just for Fun or with cutting it. Doesn't seem useful enough that we need to keep it; doesn't seem harmful enough that we need to cut it. The important thing is that it doesn't belong in main, pretending to be a trope.

Does this page predate the forums or something?

And wow, this page is almost all Natter. And there's a lot o potential for complaining. Like this entry near the top:

So we trim the complaining. There's a Special Efforts thread where one can ask for help with that if necessary. I would be happy to watchlist it afterwards and keep it clean.

I don't see any problem with keeping this page as a Just for Fun page if and only if it's cleaned sufficiently, nor do I see any problem with cutting it.

There's no problem with creating a Just for Fun page that automatically shares users' tweets... but that would have little to do with this site.

Just for Fun is not really a good reason to keep a competently random page around.

I think that it's crowner time now: Cut or move to Just for Fun. Thoughts?

eta: While I'm more-or-less neutral, there are the 81 inbounds to consider. That's a decent argument for moving instead of cutting.

Hmm, someone changed "Cut" to "Cut/Redirect" after I voted. That's not entirely kosher (although probably harmless, since redirect to preserve inbounds is almost always acceptable when something's cut), but it raises the question: do we have anything to redirect this to?

If you've voted Cut/Redirect on the assumption that we will redirect this to preserve the inbounds, rather than voting for Just for Fun, then I hope you have a potential target in mind.

I'm not entirely sure the inbounds are worth keeping, but if I were, I think I'd have to vote just Just for Fun, since I can't conceive of any reasonable redirect target. (As it is, I upvoted both options.)

eta: (I suppose we could always redirect it to Conversation On The Main Page just to mess with people's heads! )
