Seeing as Twitch follows the same "ad-fwendwy" guidelines as You Tube(sometimes even worse, as it won't even allow streaming of games like Hunie Pop even when censored), I see only one other option.
Pornhub.
No, I'm only semi-joking. Anything that's not "ad-fwendwy" will soon have to upload to Pornhub, if only because there aren't any other options.
It helps that unlike You Tube, Pornhub has integrity. Also only semi-joking.
Pornhub deletes videos without any warning and won't give a specific reason why. Doesn't require you to have an account either, so anything you find might be gone the next day with no way of retrieving it. The userbase is mostly unhelpful in identifying clips and movies that are uploaded without names.
Or so I've heard.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!How's Vimeo's copyright policy?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Youtube should just keep the rules simple
No real dead bodies
No real violence unless its a sport like boxing.
No life threatening stunts/ pranks unless all participants are aware of risk.
No real violence against children
No sexual exploitation of children
No real violence against animals
No supporting terrorist groups
No actively encouraging people to harass or take violent action against others
No death threats.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?A lot more lax than Youtube, but it's not going to stay like that for long. Plus vimeo kinda sucks.
Dailymotion videos can now be hit with copyright takedowns.
There is nowhere to go.
The thing is with simple rules is that someone always finds a way around them,so they have to be complex

New theme music also a boxNever heard of that. I know it deletes videos if it suspects any kind of non-consent, but that's a damn good reason.
Honestly, the advertising model is the real culprit. As long as it exists, any service taking You Tube's place will behave exactly like You Tube.

I think that You Tube creators should start a protest outside Silicon Valley.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?A lot of vintage film clips often go missing. More then that, but that's one specific case.
Meanwhile, thirteen Source Filmmaker videos with unfitting dubstep BGM, twenty HMV's, and fifty loop compilation videos will survive.
Reminds me of the outbreak of fanmade FNAF videos on Youtube - except those got buried under Let's Plays and I don't run into them whenever I search "FNAF" on Youtube anymore.
I didn't see no racism on there.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!That's kind of ridiculous. There's very few people who are willing to do that.
A good thread about this situation, especially for smaller creators.

With everything that's going on, I'm more convinced than ever that making Youtube videos as a career is implausible.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."You shouldn't be starting Youtube as a career from the getgo anyways. Practically any channel will tell you that.
I've been thinking that way almost from the start.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I now that's the part I question. The human verified part. Like, in what time frame. Does human verified mean to google what it means to us.
The article states they will have "about 10,000 workers covering that" but I don't know where they'll get them.
I hope Paul is happy. Youtube has now tightened its regulations that ALL channel have to abide by if they want to keep their videos monetized.
Tell me if this is true, but I heard from somewhere that anyone under 1000 subs isn't going to get any monetization anymore.
Thank you, Youtube and Logan Paul, for your stupidity.
To be fair, anyone under the restrictions placed by youtube were not getting much money in the first place. People under that Benchmark would get less then $10 a month mostly, so it’s not like anyone using it as their main money maker is screwed now.
To Quote Dan Olson:
As for this hurting small channels, it doesn't. Not really. Not beyond feeling vaguely like an insult.
4000 hours is 240,000 watch-minutes which at current rates is about $45 in revenue.
Keep in mind two things:
1 - this benchmark must be hit within a 12 month window
2 - You Tube Partner program doesn't even send you money until you've accumulated $200.
A hypothetical channel that's squeaking under these numbers is getting paid once every four years and change.
Most people affected have not seen a check from Youtube in years already. It can be demotivating to people, but it's not like anyone's losing their income or anything.

Can they at least remove the stupid Patreon rule?
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?I believe they said that they would be making it easier for smaller channels to advertise their Patreon and similar.
Also this change isn't because of the Pauls. This is because of those "kid" content channels run by bots that people raised a fuss about a little while back.

What I've always wondered is why, whenever You Tube did something to piss the internet off, why no other video website has capitalized on it. Where are Vimeo's and Dailymotion's advertising campaigns?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Cross posting from the Japanese thread...
here is some of the shit that Paul actually did in Japan..
Seriously youtube is still seriously giving this guy money and they have not taken down the videos of his criminal acts...

What sucks is that there's no where else to go. There's Twitch but that's more for livestreams.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?
