I don't know how many times I have to say it's unacceptable to use the N-word under any circumstances, but evidently it's not going to register. This entire conversation has gone nowhere and all of the arguments to support Pew Die Pie are fallacious nonsense being done in bad faith. He's a bigot, there's no defense that can be made to change that.

I have no problem with anyone not liking a certain person for even pity reasons. It's just that the extent they get hate is incredibly extreme. From the past responses it honestly seems like the appropriate actions suggested towards these people is to be disposed of. Like calling H 3 H 3 propaganda, which I still think is not true considering the incident referenced was later formally apologized for immediately.

I'm sorry, but the arguments you pulled up on how the Youtubers are fairly weak too. For example, you could view the infamous "n-word" video as a sign that he is a racist, or that he accidentally slipped a commonly heard slur during an intense moment of the game. But one situation is seemingly disregarded entirely. Even

can be disagreed on if you bring it up to other sources, such as Etika's video.

There is plenty of logical fallacies that are made in the discussion against Pewdiepie. Which is the reason why its hard to emphasize on your position.

I should also mention that I've never called anyone a white honkey devil when gaming has made me mad so I don't know why people are trying to frame the reverse as normal. Furthermore, I guarantee you that if I, a black man, was caught on stream calling someone that during a heated moment n an online game, people would not let that fly; perhaps some, if not all of the same people defending PewDiePie.

That is also not moving the goalposts. You want me to answer the statement? One black person defending Pew Die Pie does not make it suddenly okay. At least three black tropers have given him shit for it, not to mention god knows how many others, so why does one black person suddenly make it okay? Fun fact, the kind of people who view racial slurs as “just a non-racial insult” are in fact racist bigots.

Also the kind of people who use racial slurs, ‘ironicly’ or “for shock comedy”, also racist bigots.

Oh and no shit people aren’t watching the videos you’re posting, I have no interest in giving views to a bunch of bigots, which is exactly what a person is when they use bigoted slurs in their thumbnails.

This entire conversation is exactly why I see aspects of the You Tube community as cultish. People would rather pretend and cover for a racist white man's bigotry then accept that he's a piece of shit.

Honestly I think the problem is bigger than Youtube. Like I said before, some people just don't want to believe someone they enjoy or even don't have any strong feelings about is just not a good person. So they'll downplay whatever crappy thing they do because it's easier than admitting that the guy might just be a POS.

Celebrity culture in a nutshell, really. The baffling thing is that Pew Die Pie was an outright punchline due to his popularity and crappy content before the "Kill all Jews" incident. Before the Paul brothers, he was the target of mockery. People wanted him off of You Tube, they mocked his content, they mocked him as a person. The rape jokes he made got him a lot of heat. Suddenly he turns out to be a bigot and he's now beloved by people who say he's the king of You Tube.

The fact of the matter is that what Logan Paul did and what Pew Die Pie did were both awful, but the latter has no high ground. The only difference between the two is a generation divide.

It's like saying "Pew Die Pie isn't racist, he has black friends!".

The same person used a "this person isn't misogynist, they have a wife!" defense. Just saying.

Okay, so. Part of the defense for PDP is that, when he used the slur, he didn't know the actual ethnicity of the target. That's not better. Hell, it might be worse because it creates a scenario that associates "thing that bothers me = word for black people."

The whatabout-ism going on here is ridiculous. No one's calling him the love child of Adolf Stalin and Pol Mussolini. We're saying that he doesn't deserve the money, prestige, and influence that he has, and frankly, that's not a strong statement.

This argument's been spinning around in circles for a while.

I'm willing to drop this entire debate but I'm tired of all the defenses for Pew Die Pie using racist slurs. Just don't use slur words, it's not that hard. That this even blew up into a huge fight is utter nonsense.

I watched a second of Andy Warski's live stream with Richard "get punched in the face" Spencer. Then I realized Dick Coughlin wasn't there and the only "Leftist opposition" they had brought in was...Sargon of Akkad.

I checked out and apparently it was all a giant shit show that still netted Andy Warski a ton of cash.

Does Youtube have some kind of mandate where they have to come up with a new design layout every couple of months? I swear I keep seeing some new widget or wadget every couple of months.

At least they finally gave me the ability to save videos in my suggested video list to a playlist, instead of just watch later.

Still hate how I can be watching Part 1 of a video but the recommended videos will always skip 3 to 4 parts ahead, instead of just giving me Part 2.

That's always been a problem...
