https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXkI1sTDoEgDesert. Desert everywhere. Or mountains.
I've been to the Denver Airport.
It was ok.
Well it was before the The Noughties but if I remember correctly
- Scenery Porn (though not to the extent of California,North Carolina,or Pennsylvania. Still lots of mountains and canyons)
- Denver is an interesting city, even the airport with its "mountain top" roof stands out.
- South Park is kinda boring, yes ''that'' South Park.
- Driving is pretty much the only way to get anywhere.
Have you been in the mountains proper? I know of a ton of places that put popular scenery porn locations to shame. (I'll admit, a few of them you won't find on a trail or road.)
One of them made the Outdoors section of the local paper today. I dare you to tell me this isn't good Scenery Porn.◊

Yeah,a friend of mine has a house thirty miles southwest of Denver,...last I checked the Lion's Head is well in the mountains, and South Park is up there as well.
Besides California is a Tough Act to Follow with it's diverse terrain, and considering what the states directly adjacent look like,it's a miracle there is any Scenery Porn at all.
I went there a couple of years ago with my parents to visit my uncle. It's really nice out there, if you're used to living in boring unscenic places like I am. Weather wise, it's fine in the summer, although some people still find the mountains cold.
Anyway, I'd recommend going to the Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Denver, it's a really neat place with a lot of musical history. I forget what all the other places I went are called.
My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.Nah Colorado gets too warm in the summer, the mountains are alright if you get high enough though.
That's a downside,...especially when you originate from California
Only from time to time. Unfortunately this year is not one of those. It's got hot and stayed hot and will be until winter decides to show up.
Alrighty let me rephrase that, compared to San Francisco it gets too warm.
Well I live in a tourist town located deep within the mountain ranges.. And damn is it pretty here in the spring and fall! Also, because we got some 14er's out here... Certain mountains have snow on their peaks up to June in a mild year. One in particular is sorta known locally for it.
Also, at least where I'm at.. There's a shit ton of outdoorsy stuff to do if you're into that.... And don't live here so you don't find it boring.

Have you been there? What's it like? Where did you visit? Or do you live there? Tell me all you can about this state, please.
Pros, cons; just what you think about it! :D
