Yes, but in this point circumstantial evidence should be far more than enough not trust her absouletely, but he doesn't show even shadow of doubt which is in contrary of his usual almost detective-like insights.

Before we sell him short, I want to know what he wanted to show Rinka.
Check out my fanfiction!Shougo was paying attention. Wow. That almost made how dense he seemed in every single episode worth it. It's like he dealt with everyone completely normally, but apparently he was aware of far more than he appeared
In fact because even Miyabi has her reasons for acting like she has and becoming even more aggressive I might even rate this slightly above average fanservice ecchi harem. Well, it still is what it is I guess.
Sequel hook in not knowing what Yurizina's goals were or who she was working for? Not gonna actually happen I'd say, but as far as ambiguous harem endings go, at least the Imouto from the premise has been found.

"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."I remember some duck saying you shouldn't sell him short before things are actually revealed. If there's a mystery, it tends to be bad to assume a character is clueless about it, since if he reveals it, the mystery would be solved, which defuses too much tension.
I also liked how this episode didn't make any reveal look like it was supposed to be a big secret and underestimating the audience. It was all just a part of the plot you were supposed to follow.
Check out my fanfiction!Well, the show seemed like your typical "fanservice harem anime" that the main guy doesn't seem that "smart".
One thing that did bother me somewhat was how the student council president was a red herring all along. She appeared quite prominently in both the OP and the ED, yet she barely got any focus at all.
"If music be the food of love, PLAY ON" - William ShakespeareInstead she just stole the scene whenever she did appear.
Your standard fanservice harem anime doesn't include much of any mysteries that the characters actually need to solve, though. Mostly if there is a mystery it gets solved more or less through brute force, by accident, or by itself.
Check out my fanfiction!I am glad, he weren't idiot in the end. If he were, this show would genuinely suck. Anyway I have to admit I were mistaken about Tsurara being sister (it was obvious several last episodes, but there always could be some final twist). My bad.
And future wife will be Ikusu! No doubts about that.

So Shougo knew about his little sister all along and was apparently just acting clueless. Okay.
Pretty open ending too, though I can't say I'd want to watch a second season.
Apparently an unaired 13th episode is coming to tie things up.

By the way this is just the sort of insanity I imagine when I read "WHERE IS IMOUTO?"
It's partly the lack of proper grammar kinda makes me imagine it being screamed by a madman.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."So, OVA. Or Episode 13. In which that dear sister is overbearing.
I think there was a somewhat clear winner there. Someone actually thought the challenge through.
His deadpan expression while bouncing her boobs was hilarious. And then we cut to his expression as he was imagining it... She really is Win.
And I think someone's got some bristly hair down there... Might need shaving.
Check out my fanfiction! You are right, Ikusu is clear winner, but it couldn't be helped she is just that awesome...
Crap! Maybe I should put it into spoiler!

So, basically a simplified version of the novels' end result, huh?
If you don't know what I mean, here's how the novels ended up: Konoe's actually the illegitemate child, but Shougo is adopted, so the two of them end up going out anyway, and Miyabi's Shougo's cousin, but ends up as his step-sister after her father marries Shougo's mother.
...That kinda weird.
Ah. The classic "she's the real child but this guy is adopted so it's okay for you to go out" routine. Actually, we didn't find that out in the OVA. Though it's not like anyone ever doubted that Konoe would win.
Just watched the OVA. It's facepalm-inducing funny. Shougo's imagine spots are... strange, to say the least.
Kunitachi's surprise marriage meeting was chuckle-worthy, but somehow Ikusu's date is the one which made me laugh the most, even though it was pretty much your normal lovey-dovey date.
Oh, and nice appearance by the vaguely chuuni Newspaper Club Prez.

Thus what I meant by "simplified version", since it's still a Konoe as lover and Miyabi as sister ending.

Thing is Yuzurina has all the deniability she needs. The invitations? Her just fulfilling Shougo's wish. Seri being a traitor? A fluke nobody could've predicted(indeed, Mister X chose her to prevent such a thing). Basically he could suspect her, but his reasons for doing so would be based on circumstantial evidence at best.
