At the same time as Darwin pointed towards Tony, Megan floated to where he had fallen, still on her Swiss girl disguise. As such, she floated out of the woods, eyes glowing, unaware that there was a crowd near her. Waving her hand, she tried to force Iron Man's helmet to open, gritting her teeth. "You hide under that armor- you spit on the name of your enemies by doing so." She chided him, her voice mixed with a thousand other voices, complete disdain dripping from each word she spoke.

Tony grimaced when the armor began displaying all sorts of alarms about being forced apart. "J-JARVIS, open up and get away..."

"Something's wrong...I'll be a distraction, you...get the armor up and then try to come in from behind...she won't be able to sense you!"
There was only a split second of hesitation before the armor came open, Tony all but lunging out of it and towards Miss Martin, grabbing at her arms, even as the Iron Man behind him folded back together and started to get to it's feet on it's own. "Marsha, don't do this! You remember when this happened to me, when that monster hit me with that spell? This is just like that! Don't give in to it!"

Chloe was struggling not to think her suspicions and tried to followed Gambit, question and Darwin while she thought 500 miles from the proclaimers to block her thoughts.

Darwin ran into the clearing and stopped dead. To one side was M'gan, doing her damndest to rip Stark a new asshole. To the other, Captain Fucking America and... the Howling Commandos? Wazzat the Howling Commandos?
"I'll deal with your paradoxes in a second!" He shouted at Capt and Co before running at his friends.
"Megan! Oi, Megan!" And failing at getting her attention with that, he'd go right for hopping on her back. Because that was a great idea.

Hidden in the underbrush, the Invaders started to form a large circle around the heroes. They weren't sure what to make of the metal thing spitting out a man, who desperately tried to reason with an ominous glowing woman. Whatever it was, it didn't bode well. They could only pray that sinister girl was on their side.
Darwin rushed forward and called out to Megan. Then, all of a sudden, something grabbed him from behind, pulled him into the forest, and slammed him against a tree. A man in a costume of black and red- with a skull on his belly and a grey, goblin-like mask -loomed over him and covered his mouth. "Listen closely, whatever you are," he said, taking a knife from his belt, "In a second, I'm going to let you talk. You're going to talk quiet and to the point, and you're going to tell me who you people are, and what in the blue hell is going on. Verstehen sie?"
If Darwin nodded, the Destroyer would take the hand off his mouth.
Mystique snorted. "Not much in the way of allies to be found there. The guards kept me isolated from any 'extra-normal' prisoners, and I was surrounded by metaphobes, misogynists, and patients to pretended to be metaphobes or misogynists just to get a rise out of me."
The further they progressed, the darker the hallways became. They began to see stains on the wall, of a reddish colour. There were patients and officers draped on the ground, with the most severe injuries. Doors were broken, windows were smashed, and furniture was scattered everywhere. No matter where the group looked, they would see nothing...but carnage.
There was the sound of giggling. Down the right corridor, there came trudging an enormous mound of purple goo,
◊ who was laughing uncontrollably. Occasionally, he knocked into the walls, which started to liquefy.
-*Martian. The others. Are getting away* Access telepathically "reported" to her, as she was the "center" of the mindlink. His thoughts sounded mechanical, as if he were struggling deep inside against them. *What. Should I do. Bring them back? Attack them? Or follow?*

"Oh, I do not have time to be afraid of you!" Darwin viciously said to him, "I dunno who the Hell you are and my friend is busy trying to murder my other friend and something just tried to hijack my brain! Which probably are related facts, I dunno! I don't really care right now!"

After hearing Access's plans trough the mind link she realized that they were in big trouble, after all she didn't stood a chance in a fight against Raven,Megan, Storm nor Access, let alone escaping, considering they were aware of every single thought they had.
"I think it's safe to say we are in deep trouble, but I have an idea. Have you noticed that our thoughts aren't transmitted, when we talk? that's because our brains are too busy moving our mouths! so there isn't a "voice in our heads" that could be transmitted. If we whisper every single thought we have, they won't notice what we are planning!" she suggested to her good teammates.

A Forbidden Rendezvous
Storm was silent as the new...new and purer, new and better thoughts flooded her mind. Transmitting her approval through the mental link, a fierce wind began to blow through the clearing, kicking up dust in the eyes of Chloe, Darwin, and the other non-affected heroes.
The sky began to grow darker as storm clouds gathered.

That's all that needed to be said about that.
Soon, the sound died down, leaving only deathly silence. Rocket allowed himself some more freedom of movement once there were no more living people around, but the lack of silence only allowed Rocket more concentration on his other sense, namely sight and smell. His eyes easily adjusted to the darkness, but this gave him a better view of the carnage.
Outwardly, Rocket gave merely an emotionless "huh" towards the more brutal killings. Mentally, however, he thought I'll be certainly making several people cripples today! a bit too cheerily.
He heard giggling. He put up a fist, telling the others to stop. It was then a odd, walking pile of purple goo came walking past. The raccoon would have let the being pass, but he saw its mere touch was causing the walls to dissolve. Making as little sound as possible, he holstered his pistols, pulled out a rather large metal ball, twisted it, and tossed at the blob monster.
The ball started to glow bright green as runes of alien origin appeared on the shell. If it hit the monster successfully, the ball split the apart in half and encase the monster in a bubble of magical hard light, preventing it from touching anything but allowing his to breathed. Rocket pulled out a Zap Stinger in case the trap bubble did not work.

Mary knelt to the ground and saw all the dead bodies around her. "This is my first villain fight and I never thought it would be like this" Mary knelt to the ground as she tried not to cry."Please stop, you don't have to do this anymore, you are hurting people!" she told the monster, with a sad tone.Even if Mary wanted to give the monster a chance to repent she also noticed that Rocket had attacked first and if the monster attacked him back she would attack him as well.

Question was making an active effort to keep in hiding, Marsha, Access and who knows who more got affected by something, and Darwin got himself captured... so much for not interfering with the past "we have to help Darwin and Tony" he said to Chloe and Gambit "and since -our- heavy hitters went insane, we need to the other guys on our side" he offered in whisper.

When he touched her arms, Megan's eyes blinked for a second. "Mr. Stark, I-I—" She began, but her eyes started glowing again and she swatted at him, trying to perform a 'psychic slap'. "You dare touch me, vermin?! I've let you poison my purity for so long... listened to your ideals... and you know what?! They were making me weak! Nullifying my true potential!" She clenched her fists. "How about I show you what I can really do when I'm not brought down by idiots like you?!"
There are intruders. Megan told Access as she pointed both her hands at Tony. Deal with them. She smilled, her eyes glowing once more, as she tried to fill every corner of Tony's mind with nothing but pain. Drawing from the time she accidentally wiped the minds of those two villains... she was going to do the same to this man.

"W-wait, Mar-!"
Tony barely had a chance to say anything, before pain. Sheer, unrelenting, blinding agony tearing through his head like hundreds of angry insects, swarming and knawing their way through everything, spraying acid on the shards left behind. He had thought what he'd been put through by Nabu during his cleansing was bad. It was nothing. At least then he'd been able to vocalize, to realize more or less what was happening. All he had any capacity to do here was begin to seize and convulse, dropping to the ground like a cut puppet, the sounds managing to escape him being choking grunts and guttural gasps.
Miss Martian, I am going to insist that you cease your actions at once! JARVIS had the suit up and on it's feet, and he raised both hands, the circles of blue light in his palms flaring to life and whirring loudly, preparing to fire.
"Whatever this is, we need to break it up," Steve called to the others, getting to his feet and readying his shield. "Tarantula, get that man away from there and to safety, Bucky and Black Marvel and Sun Girl, line up shots against the woman. The rest of you, surround the robot, and do whatever you can to try and keep this from escalating further! Everyone stay alert, I don't think we're alone out here!"
"I'm on it, Cap!" Bucky answered, already peering through the scope of his gun, aiming the sights squarely at the back of Miss Martian's head.

Feeling the heat coming from the weapons in the Iron Man armor, Megan lets go of Tony for a moment, turning to JARVIS. She opens her mouth to speak, but stumbles back, clutching her head. " Can't stop the v-voices... " She groans, before her eyes start glowing again, as she attempts to activate the jetpacks inside the armor with her telekinesis.
Wizard of science.
"Do you want any of those idiots to..." Raze glanced at his hands, his claws quietly sliding out of them. "... suddenly find themselves in a nasty accident?"

Black Marvel aimed his bow, and loosed a couple of arrows aimed at Ms Martian's limbs. Meanwhile, Sun Girl fired a beam of scalding hot light at her back.
The goo thing slammed its gooey mitts against the side of its bubble. "Heh-he-help me-hee-hee..." it called out between hysterical giggles. "Cletu-ha-ha, He dpfffft DID something to me-hee-hee-hee-hee...Can't ha ha ha ha, Can't st-HA HA HA HA HA HA!"
Mystique smirked. "Would you, dearie?"

"Cletus? Cletus Cassidy?!" Rocket then ran up to the bubble, confident the energy bubble would be able to hold the monster. "Do you know which way the bastard went?! Do you know what he used on you?!" he asked the monster. Rocket knew he was probably jumping to conclusions, but what he was saw on the way their and the fact De Wolff specifically mentioned Cassidy, the raccoon was not taking any chances.

A crack of thunder illuminated the now darkened clearing, followed by a sudden torrential downpour of rain.
"You will not harm your betters," Storm growled, stalking into view. A gust of wind went straight for the arrows Black Marvel had shot, hopefully diverting them off course.

"But now?" Raze continued. "Now I think we deserve a little rest. So return to your homes and to your families, and know that with me and my mother back-" He nodded towards her, smiling. "You'll be safer than ever. Tonight, no mutant sleeps in fear!"
Jumping down from his little stand, Raze walked over to Mystique. "Feeling better?" He asked, putting his hands in his pockets. "I was thinking we could talk about any possible allies you saw during your stay at the prison..."
