@Liz: When is the Creature Commando plot occurring timeline wise? Maybe I can have Rocket check that out instead of shoehorning him in with Gold Skeets over with the Molemen. Or maybe for Squirrel Girl have her investigate another facet of Oscorp while running into Rocket? I already have an idea for when they first meet......

Well, if you guys want to see me posing and then sounding like a rabid idiot in my magazine appearance, you can look here. There's a PDF and a Flash version of it, I think. I'm on pages 4 and 16/18 whatever it is. It's 16 in the physical magazine but apparently 18 in the PDF version.

In hindsight, would not do this again.

it had been like that in a place for more than 20 years but it was discovered(or better said made public) 3 weeks a go. Actually the real place was way worse...

I love squirrel girl but I agree with everyone in that we need more of her.

Also what happened to Bio? is s/he still playing with us?. I wanted to have Bane and Batman around .

Just wanted to say: we will have a tropical storm hitting the island today. We should be OK, but power might be knocked off, meaning I might not have Net access for a day or more. Just a heads up.

I saw Go TG today. It was a pretty good movie but I feel Nebula and Gamora should have switched actresses.

Guys. Dr Doom is not known to the global public. At most, they would know about the lineage of Von Doom royalty that was once there. You remember the Reed Richards launch, guys? All those Real Life months ago? The one that Richards dedicated to the memory of Victor Von Doom? Anyone?

Well, anyway. Ud, you're just about fine with your posts, but GoA, could you go back and rejigger your posts a little?

-*ahem* Seriously now, Doom is such a mystery in our 'verse, it could totally be justified if our characters knew contradictory bits about him, even about his being alive or not.

I just hope that, when he does show up, he totally does live up to his comics reputation.

(also, just for sh*ts and giggles, we could have him be Doctor Doome's son (obscure DC villain, preceded Marvel's by about 20 years.)

To be fair, one idea I had was that most Latverian citizens take it as read that their country is allegedly ruled by a man that looks like the grim reaper in armour and a forest green cloak. It's just that the news is forbidden from talking about it, so the larger world has no real idea about it.

Oh, and in answer to the characters' questions, Latveria is a backwater european speck of land, taking up a small portion of what would otherwise have been Romania.

I had not heard of Doctor Doome. I'll look into that.

Is it part of the UN?

In the Young Justice series most nations except for queen bee's country signed a "Justice league charter" that allowed the heroes to participate in other countries. Except if you guys want to cause an international incident on purpose in that case then never mind! .

My thoughts on Latevaria would be a backwater European speck where all its citizens are happy and well fed but live in constant fear of the secret police kidnapping them at random and never seen again and/or brutal punishments for even the lightest of crimes, or even on the ruler's whims. Its like the cows that live on a luxurious beef ranch know that someday they'll gonna get picked to be brutally murdered in some way in their short lives.......

I have to wonder how Doom's country would relate to Black Adam's. They are very similar when you think about it. Surprisingly they are also loved by their respective people.

Nice work on the testimony, Legend. I'll get some kind of reaction post up tonight or tommorrow, along with Gold's.

I think the main difference is while Black Adam's people genuinely love him, Doom's people more like say they love him out of fear he might have them taken to some secluded corner and shot.
