Justice Avengers: Discussion

Their is an Avenger's Initiative and it's set-up with under the principles of mutually assured destruction. Inspired by Iron Man's speech to Loki in the movie, where he threatens to make sure Loki is unable to enjoy his victory even if Earth goes down and how Banner calls the whole team a ticking time bomb. The Justice League is more oriented towards saving lives and have a code against killing to prevent them from being judge jury and executioner. The Avengers being government sponsored have a license to kill but not to execute.

Someone should play Superman.

Still I get the impression that your version is Rorshach before the incident that flipped him over from Type III Anti Hero to Type V.

True, my Rorschach hasn't gone through what the Walter Kovacs one did. She's still a murderer and a torturer though, but she's a lot more forgiving, at least.

I guess we can start that heartwarming page with this moment right here, am I right?

Liz said that Supes is overpowered, he's untouchable.

I do get to play Krypto once Superman shows up though.

@Strato: A minor thing, but it was more that Stan heard his parents being murdered, and then saw them dead.

I cannot believe how realistic Deme has made this whole clean up thing...but then that was Whay I had Bane start the War.

So here's a threat our heroes need to face... Green Arrow's Chili!

Ah, okay, sorry.

I'll probably stop there for the night. If it's okay with you, Strato, maybe the next post can be a short timeskip to them ordering/eating diner - and maybe some of the other players can pop up and join the two for breakfast if they want to.

Apologies for the triple post, but I wanted you guys' opinions on how I'm playing Power Girl so far. She seems to be slowly evolving into a Cool Big Sis type for some of the younger characters, but I'm also trying to throw hints here and there that her more personal thoughts and moments wouldn't really live up to the hype surrounding her superhero persona. What do you guys think?

I really like her, actually. Don't know why, I just do. Maybe it's how human she seems. Well, you're playing her in a way that makes her seem human.

She's awesome.

You're doing pretty good with Power Girl. She's definitley got some flaws, and she's got one of those classic old issues where she doesn't know if she's really the costume or the civilian. She's not like the younger teenage heroes, either. Nothing bad has really happened to her, but at the same time, she knows what's going on. She's kind of the middle ground between hardened and rough cynics like Rorschach and Ivan and naive, idealistic kids like Pixie and Jaime.

I can definitley see Rorschach being a rival, and for Renée Montoya to be her friend.

Power Girl is written pretty well, I think. Rogue still doesn't exactly admire her the way other characters do, but after all Power Girl did last night, her jealousy of Power Girl's abilities has waned and she has Rogue's respect rather than her admiration. But then, I'm trying to make Rogue the least idealistic of the teenage heroes. She's typically a Type II Antihero and willing enough to drift into Type III in the heat of battle.

Writers block and a busted keyboard do not a good combination make.

I'd have gotten back sooner, but my dad's been hogging the phone all day -_- But yeah, broke keyboards do quite suck. But thus far Shaw's good, IMHO.

Super creepy creeper, Shaw, reminding Tony he looks like his father was so unnecessary LOL
