From reading the latest Booster and Godfrey interactions, I believe that this is the first "real" fight that Godfrey actually lost. First he merely repeats his previous jargon to Booster's speech with only different wording without providing real argument against, and now he's just reduced to petty threats and minor nitpicks in response to Booster's revelation instead of, again, providing any real argument.

As for the other threads:

New York: not much has happened, action-wise, since the battle at the Hero Ball. Power Girl is recovering at the X-Mansion, Booster Gold is confronting Glorious Godfrey and Access is trying to investigate the Hellfire Club.

Jump City: Most of the heroes are *still* stuck in the the 50's (or a simulation of it) by Mr. Mxyzptlk until they learn some kind of lesson; the rest are fighting Atomic skull.

Hub City: Very little has happened since the sub-GM quit. We haven't found a new one yet. Storywise, the Crime War isn't over, but already several villains are vying for taking over the city as Mayor.

The last thing Jack did was talk to Kaine after they both got out of their cells. Then Kaine looked around and found Taskmaster, Loki, Firey Mask and Thor. And I think that was it.

Also, should I wait to join in any of the other rps after I post the handwave?

Well, almost everybody aboard the Kree Ship just hung around waiting to find out what was going on and what to do. So really, you don't have to be specific; just say he waited too and is now exiting the ship in a lifepod.

And you can post on the other threads any time you want.

I'll wait and post the handwave tomorrow after I get some rest. See you guys then.

Hey guys, so... I think I won't be playing here for a while, now this is not out of disinterest, being fed up with drama, time constraints or personal situations, Its just that I've been hitting burnout with Forum RP's for a while now and I think I want walk away for a while. Nothing any of you caused, just regular occurrences of regular life. I look forward to playing with all of you when I come back, and don't worry I will, but its goodbye for now, and thanks for everything.

Sijo and Slendid, sorry to leave you guys hanging, especially you Sijo, but I hope Lizzy can take over for me and you guys can do the Hellfire club plot.

Goodbye, Sano, and good luck with getting your groove back. I think I might have a better grasp of the Question's attitude than when I filled in during Sins of Youth, so hopefully I should do him justice.

By the way, Jarvis is kind of Leaning on the Fourth Wall. I was searching for Wesleigh's last interaction, and found an old forgotten event that might be recycled for current continuity. However, I did this before realising that Jarvis might not have the right to share his discovery, so I'll try and dig myself out of that hole.

Now, to help our returning friends settle into current events. For the benefit of lucky break, here's a very brief recap:

• Professor X and Jean Grey managed to purge Godfrey's influence from Power Girl. Everyone thinks the Weeper was responsible, except for Booster, who had to be talked down by (read: have a mid-air battle with) Tony to stop him from doing something drastic to the pundit.
• Lex Luthor got shivved by Raze, then ambushed by X-23 in his limo. Green Arrow's Outsiders managed to subdue her, and wanted to set the lab girl on the straight and narrow.
• X-23 got brought over to the X-Mansion, with a SHIELD escort keeping tabs on the Outsiders and her, and a shitstorm went off on the school grounds as she tried to escape. Luckily, the situation was defused, and now she, and Cannonball's visiting sister Paige, have been invited to enrol at the X-Mansion.
• Rocket slept over in the waiting room, before he, Rogue, Ms Martian and Superman went to chat with PG, and reveal she's got a little bit of Krypton in her. PG got dressed in a rather snug copy of her costume, and now the team's setting out to get to the bottom of all this.
• Booster invited himself onto Godfrey's show, and came closer than anyone to beating him at his own game. Godfrey got the last laugh, of course, but now the cameras are off, and the discussion is getting much more intense. Meanwhile, Hawkgal is doing some snooping of her own, and her hastiness has landed her in a scuffle with security.
• Oh, and Access' ex has found her parents getting friendly with the Hellfire club, so he's got Question and Sandman doing some gumshoe work there, too. Man. Didn't realise how many investigation plot threads were going on.

Speaking of, I will try to post soonish, got a lot going on right now

Hey, I just realized that She-Bat and Raze are both in prison, which means the JA has 2 bad guys in jail at the same time! New Record!

I just finished my Hand Wave post on Starry, Starry Night. Is it decent? Or should I add more to the post?

I'd say it's been closer to two years at most in-game.

I'd say a year, if that. We had one Halloween event and one Christmas event, that I recall.

Yeah, but there could have been non-event Christmasses and Halloweens...es.

I think two years makes more sense.

We could be late into the second year, leaving room for another holiday clusterfuck should the need arise.
