It just hit me:

Why couldn't Vortexx show comedies like The Amazing World of Gumball, action shows like Green Lantern: The Animated Series, and educational stuff like Transformers: Rescue Bots?

I bet if they showed relatively new programs like that, their days probably wouldn't have been numbered the way it is now. tongue

Taking away Power Rangers Lost Galaxy might not have helped. It's one of the more popular seasons.(although it has a ton of deaths, so maybe that's why they removed it, before Kendrix died, or would've been permanently dead if her actress didn't come back just in time to finish shooting the season from her sickness of leukemia.

It's a sad thing to hear that good cartoon blocks get steamrolled in favor of garbage live action shows. By the time this happens it seems like PBS would be the single reliable thing standing for non-cable kids programming, except on Saturdays. It was bad enough that we don't see anything during the weekdays but redundant judge/talk shows.

I mean, I know there's some cartoons on CBS, or NBC that air sometimes. I think it was either stuff from Qubo or from Cookie Jar's stable, but who knows how long that lasted or will last?
