So the characters Aela is thinking about are: Lux, Varus, Shyv, Riven, Kat, Lulu, Fiora, Leona, maybe Taric (except not because Taric is major creepo magoo).

Lux is ok to supplement our Demacians. Varus, I have no idea about his lore. Shyvana is out because of Vuther's creepy lust for her. Riven can fit in pretty much anywhere given her exile status. Kat doesn't really get along with Swain, yeah? So that would end up being even more trouble. Lulu can go anywhere too. Fiora can get to Piltover if it means further proving her swordsmanship. Leona is busy hanging out on top of mountains.

So the best choices here are Riven, Fiora, and Lulu. They just fit best with what we already have. But Ice is a smart guy, he'll figure out whatever you want to do.

If it's a serious problem, Noxian cow is coming your way.
Whatever it is, Ice can deal with it/be aided by it.

MAKE THIS CHARACTER NOW

So the best choices here are Riven
Naturally.

Shyvana is out because of Vuther's creepy lust for her

Bah, you abuse headcanon over a Noodle Incident so.

[up][up] Vuther, we all read between the lines and you are only denying the obvious.

YES! Leblanc and Swain, some fun times to be had there. Maybe you could pull double duty, Aela?

I'm so sorry guys. There are currently like 4 people streaming for CLG at once which hasn't happened for awhile. So fanboy time

It should be up tomorrow though and I'll ask Blonde to finish Akali soon

Just to be an example here, I was interested in joining until I had to read about 6 pages of random blabbering (usually about shipping) just to see if anyone took Mundo. This may also have been avoided if OP out the characters people were using in the title, but I think the main point here that you already did "scare" one person off.

Welp, see ya.

Not to be mean, but if a person is unwilling to sort through things they won't stay anyways, in my experience~ While maybe tvtropes isn't the same, I've gotten fairly good at spotting the people who won't stick around on the board I admin, and unwillingness to read through stuff is usually the first sign.

Especially if they wanted to see all they had to do was control f mundo 6 times.

Like 2 pages were about the random shipping. The rest however, was taken up by on topic submissions of characters, our expectations for how the RP will be conducted (writing styles, plot, etc.) and figuring out characters that would be good for telling a cohesive story. Besides those two pages you found so off putting you missed out on a lot of good discussion that I believe would be helpful for potential players.

Although I do like the point that Ice should probably put the taken characters in the initial post~

Going through 6 pages isn't the point at all. Watching it turn into a bullshit shipping fest is kind of what killed my desire.

But, um, have fun guys.

Don't even see why you'd feel compelled to share your opinion with us, but ok

It's pretty obvious that it's all tongue in cheek, anyways.

FEAR NOW FOOLS,FEAR THE TINY MASTER OF EVIL.

  • Name:Veigar,The Tiny Master of Evil.
  • Background:As a child, Veigar was a normal yordle with one small exception - he had a deep curiosity for the world beyond Bandle City. The young yordle spent much of his time studying the rest of Valoran, and he jumped at the chance to join a business that traded with other major city-states. Unfortunately for both him and the world, a deal with Noxian trader turned into shady business and went bad; Veigar and his companions were subsequently set up to take the fall. Arrested by the authorities, he was imprisoned within the walls of Noxus for years. Such isolation is very dangerous for yordles - undoubtedly why his cruel jailers did such a thing - and Veigar was slowly driven mad.He eventually escaped, having become a twisted version of his former self. Instead of returning to his people and Bandle City, he sought tutelage from dark wizards across the land. With his demented will focused on one task, he quickly became a dangerous and powerful wizard in his own right. Now he seeks to end all conflict on Valoran by bringing all of the city-states to their knees, regardless of their affiliation. The League of Legends is the perfect tool to help him meet his ends - for now.
Abilities:

Equilibrium -(passive) Veigar's mana regen is increased by 0.75% for each 1% of mana he is missing.

Baleful Strike - Veigar Unleashes dark energy at the enemy target, dealing magic damage.

Dark Matter - Veigar calls a great mass of dark matter to fall from the sky to the target location, dealing magic damage when it lands.

Event Horizon - Veigar twists the edges of space around the target location for 3 seconds, stunning enemies who pass through the perimeter for a short duration.

Primordial Burst -(Ultimate)the Primordial Burst is a huge blast of cosmic energy that uses the target's magical power against them, dealing more damage the more magical the target is.

  • Personality: Veigar is a little, only slightly insane (opinions may vary, alot) Yordle. He gets angry when his stature is mentioned and has a strong hatred of prisons. Due to Veigar's experiences, he has little regard for others except as resources or obstacles to gaining more power. He is vengeful and despite his appearance,Veigar can actually be remarkably intelligent and cunning.
  • Appearance:I am evil,stop laughing!

I say, would it be acceptable to create a new Champion from Rakkor for this campaign?

I can't see why not myself. Then again, I'm not writing this entire thing, so you might have to wait for Ice's response.

Vuth and I both made OCs, don't see why you couldn't. I think first post actually has Ice giving the okay for OCs.

  • Name: Emilia Leblanc, The Deceiver. Matron of the Black Rose (Evaine, though this name has long since been given up)

Background: The name Leblanc has existed alongside Noxus as far as memory serves. To those who know of her, she is always the same, immortal, beautiful, and deadly. But those are the only things any two people can agree on. Is she just a legend, or some ghost from the past, stuck here by some dream of Noxus that is long dead? Does her influence spread throughout Runeterra, is it limited to Noxus, or does she even have influence any longer?

However without any confirmed appearances, or even the slightest hint of anything with her hands in it, the rumour and speculation slowly died down, until the crown of Black Rose vanished from public memory.

All of that changed the day those heavy doors swung out and the League Of Legends announced their newest champion: Emilia Leblanc.

It was unexpected, unknown, and instantly sent some people into a fervour, rumours reborn. Old men swore she looked exactly the same as when they had brushed by her on the street some dark night decades ago, even when they had never seen her. The legend was revived. Speculation was rampant, but quickly became murmurs once again.

And Leblanc would have it no other way. No one, except those who were part of the Black Rose knew or understood what she was, who she was, and even then sometimes there was confusion and deception. The truth was far removed from the Legend, as it always was. And that suited Leblanc.

In that truth, Leblanc was a title passed down amongst the leadership of the Black Rose. Leblanc, in fact, was the staff and the crown that she wore, and carried everywhere. She had received those, and the illusion overtook her, making her appearance that of who she had inherited the title from. Thus, she appeared immortal. Perhaps she was immortal even, living within the identity and the relics, though no one could say for sure.

Her hand did not control all of Runeterra, as some claimed, but neither was it limited to just Noxus. She caused, in some part, the fight in Kalmeda that lead to the destruction of the land, and the creation of the Crystal Scar through the League’s destructive magic. But what part she had in it, or even if she did, no one could agree on.

Rumours about her never stopped. She controlled Swain, she was Jarvan… both of them, no she was Swain. She was Darius, she was Darkwill, and when Darius killed him only her shadow remained in the League lying past her death, no she controlled the League and they danced on her strings, the League controlled her and she was a puppet for their true desires. The only thing that was common to the rumours was, if Leblanc was there, her mysterious smile.

“Would I lie~?”

Abilities (3 normal+1 passive+1 ultimate):

  • Mirror Image– Leblanc can create an Illusory clone of herself, generally to trick or confuse an enemy. The Illusion is substance to most, but cannot actually interact with the world around it, as it cannot strike an opponent, or even lift objects (Other than objects that are of course an illusion, though otherwise she can control it perfectly.
  • Sigil of Silence – Leblanc projects an orb towards her target that deals magic damage, as well as subsisting about their person for a short time afterwards. If another one of Leblanc’s magic spells hit while this subsistion still exists around the target, it detonates for additional damage, as well as preventing the target from using abilities for a short time.
  • Distortion – Channeling her magic through her staff allows Leblanc to leap with extraordinary speed a short distance, that culminates with a small magic explosion when she reaches her end point, if she so wishes. After that, Leblanc can teleport back to her starting position if she wants to. This distortion is only open for a limited time before it becomes impossible to teleport back.
  • Ethereal Chains – Leblanc can project Illusionary chains towards an opponent, attempting to bind them if they cannot escape her before the chains finish wrapping around the target. These chains also are designed to cause pain to the target in two bursts. Once when the initial chains grasp ahold of them, and once more when they finish binding them.
  • Mimic – Leblanc can mimic her previously used ability instantly, causing greatly increased damage with the mimicked spell.

Personality: As her title would suggest, Leblanc lies all the time to those she is not in league with. Every facet of her, every step she takes could be easily a deception, and is almost certainly part of her grand plan. Some say she lies to keep her hand in it, and has never spoken a true word in her life, though that is too a lie. She is also calm, but haughty and confident in herself and her cause. That is the only time one might see her passionate rather than simply amused, and that is when speaking of her dream, to see the Black Rose bloom once again, and regain their birthright.

She is also excellent at dissembling and reading a person, though her judgement of a person’s worth can be fairly clouded based on their position in alignment with or against what she sees as her path. This naturally extends into the fact that she can be fairly clever, and plan out her course ten steps ahead without much worry.

Some, if they didn't know about her utter deception, or perhaps even if they did, would describe her as 'civilized', and she is far from what Demacian propoganda shows of the Noxians.

Leblanc also, despite her lies, hates betrayal. She will always remain loyal to the Black Rose, and their mysterious goals, and anyone who has stepped out of it has lost some of her faith, though can still be useful (Swain), and she can be cordial towards.

Lastly she takes great care of her appearance... maybe. She tends to be hidden by an illusion most of the time, and any form she takes looks immaculately groomed, at least. She also has an excellent taste in tea. Though if she likes tea or not is unknown, she says she does but...

Appearance (Description or image): Considering her mastery of illusions, her appearance can vary quite incredibly, but this is the Leblanc Runeterra is familiar with

Misc: Tried not to confirm or deny anything in her history of the various potential mysteries she is involved in, as that way Ice could decide who Jarvan is, etc. Also I have always sucked at just outright describing a person.
