Manga: Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya

I have recently been catching up with some series that I had got behind with and I must say that Fate Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya just keeps getting better and better (I am also very much interested on how the anime will go).

The most recently scanned chapter with Bazett vs Dark Gilgamesh is particularly awesome.

As far as I've seen, the translation slowed down, then kind of puttered out. There's no explanation why really, ESPECIALLY when the raws for the final chapter came out.

I just finished the first part, and will start Zwei (which I've seen a bit of here and there) tomorrow.

I wish we had gotten to see the last one in the epilogue chapter, since they apparently trashed an entire stadium.

The sequel that follows soon afterwards.

Man, Bazett is a beast. I shudder to think what the 5th war would have been like if she had actually managed to team with Lancer properly.

We're not getting to see much of her fangirl side however, probably because the servants proper don't exist in this world.

Well, we have a confirmation of the studio doing this, as well as the director: Oonuma Shin and SILVER LINK. Yeah, Baka Test people.

Bazette is an utter badass, it's as if she's from another continuity. Absolutely my favorite character. I wonder if 2wei will also get animated, cause that would look awesome.

Maybe she is.

She crossed over from Fate Hollow Ataraxia, knowing that with no Kotomine to screw her over, she'd be allowed to shine, and damned if she wasn't right.

But there is a Kotomine Kirei around, you just haven't met him in the translated chapters.

That Kotomine, along with everyone encounter in 3rei thus far, is in an alternate dimension.

Since this Kirei never took part, presumably, in any Fourth Grail War, and this universe is somewhat Lighter and Softer in general principle, I'd bet he isn't as bad as FSN Kirei. But I still think he'll be a dick.

Then he's still the guy we all love now at his core ain't he?

I suppose so. I haven't checked the raw chapters yet, but a constant Running Gag in the Nasuverse is how awful a person he is.

Kaleido Ilya should have been in Carnival Phantasm. Not having her with Phantasmoon was a complete wasted chance.

Yeah, I say he's still a dick. At least, takes his job very serious.

So there is a third series of the manga then? I knew the translation of 2wei was only around half way through but I didn't know there was another one.

Hopefully the anime will get the Scanlators moving.

Since you seem to be able to read what it going on, would you mind providing us with a summary of what happened in the as of yet untranslated chapters?

Basically Luvia and Rin's teams, along with Basett, confront the last card... which turns out to be what seems to be an Alter version of Gilgamesh. A running battle then happens, in which we see just how much of a monster Basett is, but they don't get the associated card. This is because two other magical girls intervene and... it ends, with a small message at the end that the story will continue with 3rei.

WAIT? THERE ARE TWO MORE MAGICAL GIRLS?!!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!!!

What the muffins?!!

Yep. And they pretty much pop up to steal the extra card. 3rei seems to hint that they're not native to Prisma Illya's reality. I blame Zeltrecht again.

And one of them seems to have access to a card that lets you draw on Thor according to some speculation and translation on Beast's Lair.

Also Gilgamesh escapes, tries to use the Holy Grail under Enzou. Illya and Miyu interrups him, results him getting spilt into two, before he is defeated.

You getting that from a translation or just a guess? The one on the right with the really big hammer with a too small handle seems more like Thor.
