Why didn't you just use the English title? >___<
It's one of my absolute watches this cour. I'm hoping they go with the childhood friend's route (based on what it says on the trope page).
The Japanese title is generally preferred, and I couldn't find a good excuse to switch it.
I wonder if they'll go the Amagami SS and Yosuga No Sora route with an arc per option.
I figure that between this and Kokoro Connect, at least one of them will be above average.

Just watched episode 1.
My perception of this series will definitely be taking a hit from how much I dislike Slice of Life anime, since some of those elements are very prevalent here.
Seems slow-paced, all things considered.
Wow, that was one hell of a cold open.
As far as first episodes go, I don't think we could have asked for a better one. The characters are all established nicely (and likable, to boot), and the main plot was set rolling in a well-executed fashion. It didn't feel rushed, and it didn't linger on anything to the detriment of other elements.
Unless the studio turned production over to a bunch of incompetents after the first episode, we're looking at something slightly above average at the very worst.
The first episode has to establish the cast, so I'm not sure what exactly you were expecting.

There are many ways to establish a cast without making your first episode ridiculously slow. Sadly, however, most anime don't even try to.
This is why I always wait until eh plot starts moving before making a choice on an anime, but my problems aren't isolated to episode 1 if the preview is any indication.
I wouldn't call it slow. I think you're coming down too heavy on the Slice of Life scenes, considering them as deadweight instead of as enjoyable in their own right.
That's probably it, TBQH. It takes a lot for me to enjoy Slice of Life, since I follow series primarily for story progression and Slice of Life tends to slow progression down somewhat.
Geez, talk about Absurdly Powerful Student Council.
I agree with the people who said it had too much excess So L stuff. I'm not against Slice of life in general except when it's boring. Far more could have happened and the pacing didn't demand they were just talking about dull stuff all that time and not doing anything. For all that they might as well have shown us them actually attending class or something.
Michiru really reminds me a of Shiki though. In a cute way.
If the main character perceives peoples' true natures as a physical characteristic, that's pretty interesting too.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."May be good, may not be. Too early to tell. The only thing I really dislike is the excessive censoring. While I don't like them, I accept that it's sometimes necessary for the network and such. But must they blot out half the screen? Why not just put up a Nice Boat while they at it? That throws me so far out of the immersion it's not even funny.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. The political conspiracy is interesting, especially since there's at least one casualty that resulted from it. Unfortunately it seems that the show is going to focus more on the SOL/harem stuff and while I'm not opposed to either I'm have to admit that I'm more interested in the aforementioned conspiracy.
Good first episode, though. The pacing was solid and laid out a bunch of plot threads to follow for the upcoming episodes. Better than I can say for, say, Mashiro-Iro Symphony, or Hoshizora. The lead also seems to have some sort of ability to see a person's nature or something, which is another point of interest.
the finance commissioner looks really similar to Haruka Morishima
I hate what's-her-name who's also running for club president. Not only is she trivialising someone's club in front of them, she's terribly condescending at delivering a simple metaphor which didn't even work out that well... Okay, that's one scene, but I still don't like her much.
Still, the clubroom is nice and friendly. I decided I don't like the girls' school uniform.
Ummm. We don't really learn anything new this episode though, so I'm kind of out of things to say.
Quite a few chance encounters though (as correctly lampshaded). I'd guess this was the place to raise flags and find places to branch off into routes.

"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."I Actually didn't find her condescending at all. Quite the opposite, I found her likeable. I didn't find it trivialising either, as he asked her about it, and she gave an honest answer. Which he even agreed to.
Another girl who won plus points for me was someone who didn't go into Pervert Revenge Mode, despite that he actually did grope her. And called her a pervert for it, which was funny.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Yes that was definitely a plus. Perhaps that's because she obviously likes him though. Even one of the club members is shipping them.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."I'm actually rather enjoying this. The Financial Division Girl is my fave but of course she's going to lose in the romance department. Same deal for the Low-Income Student.
Well, I guess Childhood Friend is a good choice too. It was nice that she didn't beat up Oojima.
My curiosity is still begging to be satisfied, though. What is up with the chocolate and that weird "superpower" Oojima has? Not to mention the dirty politics.
So far this has been fluffy (aside from the attempted murder part) and pretty good, but I'm eagerly waiting for the inevitable Tracy Flick analogue to kick of the manipulative politicking shenanigans.
The OP and ED are unbelievably boring, but the preview almost makes up for it.
I actually rather like the OP.
It's the most generic OP out of anything I've seen this cour.
IMO, genericness beats the pure laziness of some of the other OPs for shows I'm watching, so I have no problem with that.

I'm also kind of disappointed that there weren't any visual discrepancies or clues about that ability this episode.
I'm currently backing childhood friend too.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."Well, if you guys are backing Miss Childhood Friend, I'm backing Miss Election Rival. I like the way she's teasing him; it shows a sense of humour.
How're the On the Next fragments? I generally avoid those like the plague I like to call Spoiler, as I've been spoiled by them previously, which has ruined some surprises.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Cute chibis.
I'm backing Election Rival too! Though Childhood Friend is almost certainly the victor already.
Maybe that's what they want you to think! After all, Unlucky Childhood Friend is always pretty likely. I was reading a couple odd impressions off this show, and everyone seems to be marking it very lowly.
I have to admit I still have the impression it's going somewhere, but quite a few people seem to think there's nothing else to it, it's never going to be more than this. And this part isn't all that interesting.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."
Because apparently I'm only making threads for things that absolutely won't involve explosions:
Love, Elections, and Chocolate
This cour's Visual Novel adaptation not called "Muv Luv"; it looks like it might be promising. Premiers (much) later today.
