If you wish.

Edit: Crap. I need to run my cards again - it seems to have decided that cards from Commander, and at least one from Alara (Malfegor) don't exist.

Seems we have the options of non-EDH pugilism or a ten minute wait.

Hm. . . Ten-minute wait, I suppose. Will let me refine my new deck and also get back in touch with LC. Room will already be up and with us in it. See you then.

So, apparently my mono-red mill deck (yes, you can do such a thing) is still better at beating face than some of my green decks.

[up]Decklist or it didn't happen.

So this guy thinks that Dark Ritual is the cause of the prevalence of BBB and other B-heavy spells in Black, and that it's killing black today. Personally I'm not sure if I agree with him on this seeing how pushing you to run monoblack decks seems to be part of the color's color pie.

Opinions?

Black is meant to be the colour that most wants you to play monocolour because black's a jerk who doesn't play well with others. It's a flavour thing.

It helps to think of Black magic as a sentient, living, extremely jealous thing. Most of the time, that's because it is. Black wants you to depend on Black completely, so it has more influence over you.

Hey guys, where's the best place to sell my cards? Is there a website I can sell them to, or somesuch? I' honestly prefer not to deal with ebay unless it's the only way to get a decent price for them. According to tcgplayer, this is the list of cards I have(and am not using in a deck) worth a dollar or more.

  • Lingering Souls
  • Accorder Paladin
  • Harm's Way
  • Foil Herald of War
  • Riders of Gavony
  • Angel of Jubilation
  • Slag Fiend
  • Gut Shot
  • Malignus
  • Archwing Dragon
  • Koth of the Hammer
  • Psychic Surgery
  • Foil Relentless Skaabs
  • Ludevic's Test Subject
  • Dungeon Geists
  • 2 Blood Artist
  • 2 Dread Slaver
  • Dark Imposter
  • Griselbrand
  • Sangromancer
  • Vessel of Endless Rest
  • Elbrus the Binding Blade
  • Palladium Myr
  • Magnetic Mine
  • 2 Immerwolf
  • Drogskol Reaver
  • Diregraf Captain
  • Falkenrath Aritocrat
  • Vault of the Archangel
  • Beast Within
  • 2 Ghoultree
  • 2 Strangleroot Geist

[up][up][up] Star City Games has a buylist, but I tihnk they only pay in store credit. I would say your FLGS is the optimum choice for convenience crossed with likely payout, but if yours is anything like mine, they work in store credit too. Nothing stopping you from selling to other players in person at your FLGS. Unless your FLGS has a 'No sales' policy. I would personally go with eBay, or a local analogue for it, assuming that I couldn't get down to the FLGS to hawk my wares.

Man, why the heck isn't Thalia a Knight? In flavour text she's referred to as "Knight-Cathar" all the time.

This came to mind when I had her in hand alongside this guy.

I guess it is.

Xiphoniii: Not a problem, getting rid of unwanted cards is just one of those things that you constantly grapple with. Also I've found that auction sites are generally better than anywhere else if you're just looking to get rid of some low-value cards, as you can bundle them up and bulk sale them off (maybe by throwing a decent card in there, but that's up to you obviously).

Speaking of which, it's about time for me to get rid of some of my stuff that's in that category (curse my M13 Fat Pack having two Battle of Wits in it!).

The obvious solution is to make two battle of wits decks.

[up]So... She was the protagonist of the game?

LE GASP

Hm, so who else liked yesterday's Savour the Flavour Uncharted Realms?

I find myself A: Rather attached to Krenko now, and B: Curious as to who Mr. Taz is.

[up] Doesn't that game have the protagonist get turned into a werewolf? I'm pretty sure that didn't happen to Thalia.

Pretty sure it's an old Daily MTG article where you went through a pseudo-adventure-game thing in the world of Innistrad.

[up][up]I honestly don't remember there being a good end? Maybe I just did it wrong.
