Played against it once. Lost. Might work if they boosted the number of poison you need to lose.
I have a Putrefax and Blighted Agent in my Ezuri deck. To enable knockout blows against otherwise insane lifegain and/or other presumed invincible decks.
Required for keeping dumb lifegain strategies in check. A worthy alternative knockout condition like any other. Helps with making aggro actually viable (sometimes).
Doesn't commander damage already takes care of lifegain problems?
Also....I just cracked an expedition Flooded Strands and I'm not sure what to do with it besides doing a happy dance and posting on Facebook.....
Putting it into a deck seems insane. Trading it away feels like a waste, especially to a store. Suggestions?

Not every Commander is great for attacking with. It's just another option (and another thing to watch out for) in the big scheme of things.
Frame it and mount it on your wall?
Uril's my commander if I want commander damage wins. He can also win with Mayael's Aria.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Sell it via a website?
*5 Collect the rest of them and then frame them and mount them on your wall?
but I rather enjoy having money for food and rent.

Guys, I have the best idea for a fanfic.
Nicol Bolas ends up in Equestria and doesn't planeswalk out because the plot says so.
Hijinks follow.

Would it be safe to say that Nicol Bolas is more or less powerful than Discord?

More powerful, I'd say.
So I managed to win not 1, but 2 1v1 EDH games today where I successfully won by milling out my opponents with my mono-blue mill deck.
Including one against a deck that benefits from things in the graveyard, though he admitted after the fact that he didn't play as smart or carefully as he should have.
Still, it's pretty nifty to have pulled off.

so now that the whole set is out who wants to guess the cards which show the important story moments? My take right now is something like this
Kozileks return, witness the end, ruin in their wake, and Seagate Wreckage: seem to depic how seagate gets destroyed
Devour in Flames, Oath cycle and call the Gatewatch: They survive the battle with Ob, see the destruction of Seagate and create the Gatewatch
Comparative analysis, Unity of Purpose, and Hedron Allignment: Preperation for a final all or nothing attack on the titans
Bonds of Mortality and Fall of the titans: defeating the titans
Zendikar Resurgent: Looking at an eldrazi free plane

Devour in Flames makes me really worried that Chandra kills Ob in that encounter. ಠ_ಠ
I donĀ“t think so, i believe Ob knows when to fold and he will cut his losses and planeswalk away. Normaly he could fight her but i believe his broken knee is too much of a handicap for him right now.
Man I really hope so.
Also, holy efficient removal, Batman.◊ Didn't that same effect cost three mana more only two blocks ago?
edited 8th Jan '16 10:42:05 AM by LeChuck4
It's gone as high as five mana (Throttle). I honestly didn't expect to see Grasp again after Scars, what with them cranking down the power of removal.
That's why I said three mana more.
Although I forgot about the functional reprint in Tarkir Block. I was referring to Lash of the Whip in Theros.
So it's even weirder. Three mana less for the same effect at the same speed and only one rarity higher one block later. ._.
Ah, misread.
(It's half past six in the morning. My brain is still in its boot sequence.)
I would point out one is pure black, and the other is mixed.
But a tade off of 4 any mana for one colored mana does not seem worth it IMHO.
Thats about a 2 to 1 trade...
I think generally 1 coloured mana is considered equivalent to 2 generic. Or thereabouts. I think going up a rarity could account for the other two.

Seems correct to take it over almost any rare in Oath. Some rares might be better but not many.
How do you all feel about infect in Commander?
