So what we need is more fetches and more Atarka's Command stuff!
Yeah that forgotten mode of Atarka's Command makes a lot more sense if landfall is battle for zendikar.
Zendikar block had a few cards that upped the trickiness of landfall: fetches, explorer's scope, walking atlas and harrow are ones that i can think of off the top of my head.
I also remember playing against Frontier Guide a fair amount.
I love how just done with this Nahiri is.
"Do we have to do this? It's getting tedious." "You defiled our -" "Fiiiiine." [rolls eyes into next state, drops walls on them]
You are dazzled by my array of very legal documents.New Kiora story in this week's Uncharted Realms.
Thassa kicks her ass, but Kiora she steals the bident while Thassa's gloating about.
This one was kind of fun, but very belated, being about finishing up Theros's hanging threads. I was worried that they were going to kill her off for a minute, but I guess they have future plans there, going by the ending.
Changes to evergreen keywords in Magic Origins.
Menace (can't be blocked except by two or more creatures), Prowess and Scry are in. Intimidate, Protection and Landwalk are out.

''The eternal question of reality, it still stands today.''I really like these changes! Removing of intimidate and landwalk was definitely expected, and I think it was widely assumed that prowess would become the blue-red creature mechanic but I did not expect it to be as soon as origins.
My assumption for protection was that they would cut Protection from Colour as a keyword on creatures (they've barely used it the last two blocks, master of waves excepted) but I thought they might keep it as a flavourful thing like on Dragon Hunter, and on spells like Feat of Resistance and Apostle's Blessing, since those cards don't really hose any colour and act more like white counterspells.
Wasn't expecting scry to be evergreen but it makes perfect sense.

To clarify, protection is sticking around, but it's going to be treated like hybrid, in that it won't appear in every set.
Anyway, I quite like these changes, and I'm pleasantly surprised by scry.
I thought Scry WAS evergreen when I first started playing, so I'm not surprised by this. The example spell is well overcosted though, even compared to the common Lightning Strike. I really hope they use it better than that.
Prowess makes sense, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. I really like that Menace now has a keyword, the ability seems to come up often enough to make it worthwhile.
I agree with the reasoning on Intimidate, Protection and Landwalk. I've never been fond of the idea of Protection from X colour, I much prefer it used for things like Dragon Hunter's Protection from Dragons.
I am not fond of keywords that depend entirely on what colours/lands your opponent is playing, so I agree with all those changes. I had already noticed that Black had Menace in DTK, so it sounds like it is a good replacement for Intimidate.
Now we get to talk about all the keyword problems they haven't solved yet (well they probably have but we won't get to hear about it for a year or two): hexproof sucks, regenerate doesn't do what you'd think it does and UB still doesn't have a shared creature mechanic.
Make this a mechanic for UB creatures.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.I find prowess a bit dependent on certain kinds of decks to be a really good evergreen mechanic, but we'll see. Otherwise, I really like these changes.
''The eternal question of reality, it still stands today.''What's so overly wrong with Hexproof?

It's the colours most likely to play a lot of noncreature spells, so I don't think that's a massive problem.

Ringwarden Owl is not a wizard. I am disappoint.
Also, I have a theory that Enthralling Victor hasn't actually won anything. His name is Victor, and people are enthralled with his glistening muscles.
''The eternal question of reality, it still stands today.''And yet, he keeps getting people to buy into the idea that he's won all kinds of things, because it's hard to argue with the statement that he's a Victor.
Speak of the devil: this is on Doug's tumblr now
Three cheers for Vic the Enthralling!
Have Wizards announced anything for SDCC this year?
So there we have it.
Our One-Drop Planeswalker.
Personally, I'm just not a huge fan of the landfall mechanic. Due to the timing restriction on the trigger, 99.9% of the time it's an effect that's gonna happen once a turn in your main phase while the stack is empty. For example, you're never gonna have landfall - counter spell. It's inherently not "tricky", and I like my tricky mechanics.
