Anyone want to test out the new JOU cards.xml in a straightforward Cockatrice knife fight?
What you have in mind?
I will.
You're an ad hominem attack!Gimme a couple moments to build a deck.
So how do you guys wanna do this? Multiplayer or split into subgroups?
So should I be looking into building a straight-up JOU deck or does modifying my existing standard deck work?
That was basically my way of saying "I have built a minotaur deck with JOU cards in it; anyone wanna play".
MULTIPLAYER
What host are you guys using?
Woogerworks, usually.
Are none of you over there yet, or am I missing something?
So are we doing this or what?
I'm there.

tropermtg
tough break on the disconnect, Idler. :|
I can't rejoin; it says the game is already full.
You're an ad hominem attack!I'm not going to lie, I was cackling like a maniac a little when I realized that as long as I survived that last round, I had that game in the bag.
I was tempted to type something about it, but didn't want to give things away.
So it turns out that minotaurs are not well suited to multiplayer, and a monstrosity deck that only gets one monstrosity creature in the entire game is not in a good position.
And Elspeth+Purphoros makes for a pretty fun combo if you can get them both out. Especially in Multiplayer.
6 damage for everyone!

The worst part is that I COULD have killed you that turn by targeting Purphoros with both of the Destructive Revels I had. >_<
You do remember that Purphoros is Indestructible, right?
EDIT: Or, wait...how does the killing me interaction work? On second thought, I feel like I'm missing something...

Revels still Shocks you in the face, though.
You take the damage whether the target is destroyed or not. In fact in the subsequent game I beat Dorku by casting Revelry on a Darksteel Ingot.

You're an ad hominem attack!
That was fast.
I'm less surprised by this than I probably should be.
EDIT: So were we still floating the idea of doing practice sealed matches sometime prior to the pre-release?
