Nostalgia Filter,thats what,....and once something else comes along to rival 3D,there will be Nostalgia filter for 3D stuff,whilst those who remember 2D are in the same boat as those who have heard of records and record players,let alone still use them

As these mediums gradually come closer together, it kind of occurred to me that they have similar dichotomies. 2d vs 3d gaming(whether dealing in plane/camera, graphics), and 2d vs 3d animation. It is quite interesting how some things seem to work better in 2d for many of us...but do our preferences stem from the technology not being developed enough, or because they're not being utilized well enough?
