I saw the movie at a movie night at my church. For about a month after we watched it, no one could refrain from fist bumping each other and going "badaladala"

I still do that.

I even did it on my first watch when I came out of the theater and my dad wanted a fist bump. Of course, since he didn't see the movie he was confused.

Yeah, it was fun. It having something that sticks that well after the movie just makes it all the more awesome.

Awkward: I saw the movie right after I was told by a friend at a party that wiggling your figures after a fist pump is lame.

So after writing a Steven Universe fic recently, I have an itching to write more. Thing is, the show is "between seasons" right now, so for example I cannot use the villains because their current status is unknown (I like to make my fics fit within canon whenever possible.) Similarly I think I would like to make a Big Hero 6 one, but again, the villain was dealt with. Then it occurred to me: why not combine both? Have the BH6 go to Beach City to investigate the "alien incident" (the Homeworld Gem's attack) and run into the SU characters. Some would get along (Baymax: "Hello! I. Am Baymax!" Steven "SO COOL!!") but this being superheroes, is a fight inevitable? What do you think?

I actually really like that idea. It's a unique crossover, to be sure, and I feel like the characters would really play off each other well, especially Baymax and Steven.

As for the fighting, I'm not sure how that would play out...

If you want there to be some sort of conflict between the two teams, maybe the Crystal Gems could mistake a fully costumed Fred for a corrupted gem monster. And then they get super confused when Fred starts fanboying about how cool is it that I'm being attacked by the crystal gems you guys seriously this is so awesome.
