The cover on the wiki page looked like the 90's vomited on a JPEG, but looking at the description, I could see this being a cool movie. Also, its cool to see a movie about an Asian superhero team when we hardly see Asians in superhero fiction.
Wait, they can't do this idea. One of the founding members of Big Hero 6 is Sunfire, an X-Man. Disney can't use any X-Men characters in film.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great
They could just do it without him.
I still gleefully remember one time during the initial Mini where the team was fighting the villain, and Sunfire showed up and brought up if anyone had asked what his plan was.
Cue everyone else with dumfounded looks as they realize they didn't yet.
They might have to cut the Silver Samurai as well, though I hope not. The dude needs some positive recognition, since he's been a villain in all two of animated appearances.
One Strip! One Strip!I didn't actually read Big Hero 6, but I'm OK with the idea- there aren't that many Asian superhero teams in animation (on this side of the World anyway.) I Hope that they at least change the title, because it sounds (intentionally?) like a poor translation of a cooler Japanese name.

Nope. Not accepting it.
What is it with you and Disney making a Marvel project?
Because they each create projects that are completely different from one another.
You know what else is a subcompany in Disney? Miramax. You know whose movies were mostly released under Miramax? Kevin Smith. You know whose movies could never be shown in a family friendly setting? Kevin Smith, again. You know who's most associated with "family friendly" these days? Disney.
My point is, please just forget WHO it is that's doing it and focus on WHAT is being done.

Uh, Disney doesn't own Miramax anymore, but I see your point. Lest we mention Disney's own Touchstone Pictures(which released Unbreakable).
On one hand, I understand the concern, since Disney promised not to interfere with Marvel. But really, collaborations shouldn't be too big of a problem. We'll just have to see.

I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsReally? Since when?

About Miramax, it was sold by Disney in 2010.
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsThat explains why I was unaware of it then. Gracias.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Disney isn't really family-friendly concerned, it just aims to make the most money possible, which happens to come from directly family-friendly projects. If there is an opportunity that comes along, they'll take it. (rest assured, they'll put a warning on it first)
Wow! The LA Times released our first glimpse into the concept design today!
I can't wait to see Disney's first Japanese-themed movie that will MOST CERTAINLY be respectful to the rich culture and heritage of the country we so love and adore!
Link is dead. Go to the main page, scroll down a few, and click on the painting of the bridge where it says the title.

The link's dead.
Looking for some stories?Okay, go to the main page, scroll down a few, and click on the painting of the bridge where it says the title.
... I think they intentionally give that link a weird URL so you're able to visit it on social media sites but not through hot-linking!
This bad link has completely ruined the joke I was trying to set up!!! Hmp!!
That city design is very pretty.
It's okay, but it's nothing special. However, I had no idea they were this far along with the project.
Looking for some stories?I doubt they are. That seems more like a test animation.
Huh, this is as obscure as Guardians of the Galaxy...
There's a chance we could be getting our first Marvel Disney Movie.
