We each take a pile of cards, face down of course. We take turns moving the top card to a new pile and flipping them face up. If two face up cards in a row are the exact same number, we race to place a hand on this pile and shout 'snap'. The cards are then added to the winner's own pile. Winner is the one who gains all 52 cards/doesn't succumb to boredom.
I see...can we play this card game...on motorcycles?
Burn up, hurricane of justice! No. We sky dive.
Oh...well...that works too.
Burn up, hurricane of justice!Just don't land on me.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Should I tell Sophia to come and drag you both by your ears to the kitchen?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundB-but...we're just going to play snap while skydiving!
...Wait, how do we keep the cards from flying away?
Burn up, hurricane of justice!By playing the game on motorcycles as well, of course
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundNo, we just drop a table as well.
...Can we play it on motorcycles, which we rode out of a plane with a table?
Burn up, hurricane of justice!Yes. Yes we can. Because in the verse, anything goes.
Odd thoughts on converting Speed World 2 to be a spell that's actually able to be played in a non-motorcycle context: Firstly, get rid of the whole speed-spell thing. Why they needed it, I don't know, but it goes. That means both the restriction on it being played, and the need to reveal one to activate its effects. After that, it should be able to be used as a normal Field Spell, but it's kinda bland (not to mention you must wait at least 4 turns to activate any of its effects). Maybe add in a "convert speed counter to another kind of counter" effect on a 2:1 conversion ratio? Or maybe an effect that applies to Synchro summoning (because, you know, they're both signature bits from 5Ds), like expend counters to boost a monster's level when Synchro Summoning (or just boost a monsters level for a turn). Just kinda thinking out loud. And providing an alternate conversation topic.
Just out of curiosity, will we be able to change our decks as we go? I don't mean swapping out for a totally new deck, I'm just wondering if it's alright if our characters are tinkering with and modifying their decks as the RP progresses. Because that seems like a thing they would be doing, obviously.
This could have been some deep and thought-provoking statement about myself, but that would be too much work to come up with.Yeah, in between arcs you'll get to update your decks.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundAh, that's good to know. I figured we would, after all, it only makes sense that they would upgrade their decks if they're at a dueling school. But I wasn't sure, since the logical progression of trying to upgrade your deck is eventually getting to a tournament-level deck, which you wanted to avoid, if I recall.

This could have been some deep and thought-provoking statement about myself, but that would be too much work to come up with.We should also follow the anime's perfect example and modify our decks mid-duel.
Oh, totally.
Also, Roxas, your character's extra deck's secretly larger than his main deck, right?
Burn up, hurricane of justice!Nah, his Extra Deck IS his main deck.
This could have been some deep and thought-provoking statement about myself, but that would be too much work to come up with. His Side Deck is obviously his other Side Deck. Left, instead of right.
This could have been some deep and thought-provoking statement about myself, but that would be too much work to come up with. His side deck is his lunch and a ham sandwich is his side deck. Jeez, get it right.
Burn up, hurricane of justice! Now you're just being silly.
This could have been some deep and thought-provoking statement about myself, but that would be too much work to come up with.Fine...cucumber with the crusts cut off.
Burn up, hurricane of justice!
