I... might make a horse character if no one else wants to...
Is there a plot planned out?
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!Yes.
Is it selfish that I'm happy as we pass the setting sun?Actually... Now is a really bad time for me to join a new RP. Someone else can take the horse character.
It's a really cool idea though, I hope you all have fun with it. ^_^
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!Well, if the horse character is open, can I reserve it? I'll post mine tomorrow when I'm actually awake.
Sure thing.
Is it selfish that I'm happy as we pass the setting sun?Name: Eva Rohan
Age: 24
Appearance: Average height with a stocky but still feminine build. Medium brown skin with shoulder length black hair that she normally keeps in a ponytail. She has warm brown eyes and full dark lips. Personality: Confident and energetic, Eva is a people person at heart. She genuinely wants to help people whenever she can, which can leave her vulnerable to people of ill intentions. Loyal to those who deserve it and she has a strong but narrow sense of right and wrong. Can be gullible and stubborn- a terrible combination, not that she’d admit it. Prone to bouts of self doubt and anxiety, that hides with overconfidence.
"Sign": Horse
Powers: Empathic power absorption: She feeds off of others’ strong emotions to power her own super strength and endurance. Also has some subconscious emotional manipulation powers.
Weapon: A warhammer (of JUSTICE)
History: Eva had a grounded but loving childhood in Washington, DC. As the daughter of two politicians, she always knew that she’d follow in her parents’ footsteps. Thanks to her family ties, she snagged an internship right out of college. Soon after, however, she discovered some secrets about her superior. Her boss, an overly-ambitious congressman, had been involved with backroom dealing, along with some other crimes for years. With no uncertainty, he told her that if she let anything slip, her promising career in politics would be over before it even started. After some brief inner struggling, Eva stuck to her convictions and exposed the congressman. She figured she was chosen for staying true to her morals.

Is it selfish that I'm happy as we pass the setting sun?Incharacter Application.
Name: Simon Reynard. Here, have my card.
Age: Late twenties.
Appearance: Dashingly handsome, of course. One of the advantages of this whole situation is that I can look exactly how I wish. Of course, I favor being a handsome, if a touch thin, young man with red hair. Ah. Here's a picture I sent to a former girlfriend. She was impressed, but we broke up after a few weeks. I couldn't help my weakness for blondes. She was a blonde, and so was her sister.. and her brother.. and her mother..
Of course, she deemed this excuse far from adequate and responded with a frying pan rebuttal. My ears rang for a month after that.
Personality: A sparkling well of individuality, but of course. Charming, witty, intelligent. Not to mention modest. My friends, however, do say that I have tendencies towards selfishness, vanity, boasting and hedonism. But I'm sure they're only joking about at least half of those. Can you guess which half? We can discuss it over dinner, if you'd like.
Sign: The wondrous and cunning Rat.
Powers: Besides my amazing conversational skills, I possess the ability to change my shape. Over the course of a few minutes, I can change height, weight, musculature, the color of my skin, hair and eyes.. the whole works. Impersonating someone is a bit harder, but I just need a few minutes to observe. So, if you have a particular celebrity crush, I'd be more than happy to let you live out those fantasies. Provided, of course, that you have adequate funds or if you're simply very, very attractive.
Shifting into animals is slightly easier, thought a bit more restricted in choices. Smaller forms are simple, though anything larger than a human is utterly impossible for me. Certain animals.. let's just say that I prefer not to turn into a feline or a serpent. It's.. uncomfortable.
Weapon: I vastly prefer to avoid fights if possible. Or find someone to fight for me. I do carry a few knives hidden on my person, just in case.
History: My history isn't that complicated. I was raised by a single mom (Bless her chain smoking heart), in a small city in the Northeastern part of the US. It was a very active childhood, with my engaging in petty thievery and wanton wandering. Soon after, I discovered the various adult joys of drugs, sex and drinking. Things got a bit hazy for a few years. I'm not entirely certain what I did, but I recall enjoying it very much.
I like to think I was chosen for my charm and passion. Who am I kidding. Of course that's why I was chosen.
Additional Information: Simon should be rather entertaining. Was this sufficiently enlightening, or should I make one without the IC aspect?

It fine if I pop in with a reasonably dark in tone goat character?
Mmm, don't see why not but we'll take a look. Let's see it.
Is it selfish that I'm happy as we pass the setting sun?A fair while after I asked and probably somewhat flawed (I am perfectly willing to change it, be it compromise or utter, if it's that flawed):
- Name: Zephyr Tenuberim
- Age: 9
- Appearance: Relatively (for age) tall, thin child. Incredibly pale skin. Green eyes and short dark red hair with a widows peak. Wears dark glasses due to sensitive eyes. His clothing is set by his powers to be able to turn from normal civilian clothing into either elaborate formal clothing or light armour. Wears an emerald amulet, two emerald bracers and two emerald rings, which through his powers can transform into his weapons. Missing the little finger of his left hand.
- "Sign": Goat
- Personality: Shy and introverted, but fairly polite and peaceful. Tends to be fairly closed. Very creative.
- Powers: Transforming items between pre-set forms. Each item must be prepared and its alternate form designed mentally, which takes a considerable amount of time, and the items are generally related, such as clothing into armour, or more compact carrying-type things, like jewellery into tools. It is possible for something to combine or split as part of its transformation. Things with more than two forms are incredibly difficult for him to make.
- Weapon: The transformed forms of his jewellery. Each pair of dagger and bracer can combine and transform into a dagger, and all five items can combine into a dual-bladed weapon, which look elaborate and are emerald encrusted like the jewellery.
- History: He was abandoned by his parents hours after he was born and eventually was adopted by a rich businessman, who gave him his name and devoted himself to protecting him. He was at one point kidnapped for ransom, which is when he lost the little finger of his left hand. His adoptive father had a heart attack before he could pay the ransom and the kidnappers attempted to dispose of Zephyr by killing him. He managed to escape, although he was presumed dead at first when he disappeared. He was, in fact, chosen for the power of the goat.
- Additional Information: Both his actual genetic parents and his rich adoptive parent are, and therefore he is, from lower England. The sensitive eyes are due to an unknown medical condition.
Accepted.
Is it selfish that I'm happy as we pass the setting sun?NOTE: Monkey and Pig are still open for those of you still interested.
Is it selfish that I'm happy as we pass the setting sun?- Name: Langston "Razorback" Kent
- Age: Older than any name that comes up in casual conversation, including his own. An astute but discredited historian has placed him alongside John Brown at Harper's Ferry.
- Appearance: You can't miss him. Being over two meters tall and having skin two shades lighter than pitch, a massive girth, and arms that'd otherwise qualify as tree trunks make for a presence that's felt in the next room over. Both the hair on his head and massive beard are braided, with golden rings holding the braids on his head-hair together. The hair his back might leave the color of his skin a complete mystery at first glance. Has a slight underbite. Overall, he's been compared to professional wrestler Mark Henry more than anyone else.
- Personality: To Langston, to live is to eat, drink and be merry alongside friends. You want to be his friend? Do those things, in every action you make. Don't want to do those things? That's fine too, you'll come around. Keep others from doing so on a regular basis? Be prepared for some running, and a sudden nap.
- Sign: Boar. For the love of God, don't tell him pig.
- Powers: Herculean physical strength and stamina, and Olympic level speed (It'd be well beyond peak human like the rest if he laid off....everything). Aside from that, his flesh is like fine steel. Feet upon feet of blubbery, hairy, steel. You might want to break out the ordinance on this one.
- Weapon: A massive club carved from the trunk of the Baobab tree, weighted and supported by thick bands of cast iron. He's also an accomplished wrestler.
- History: Langston was born in Sub-Saharan Africa, long before any cities had risen, or any stories were written down. His society was a simple one, peaceful, but dreadfully dull for his tastes. So he worked alongside the youth of his village to instill traditions and and yearly festivities that'd bring more joy. With time, he'd succeeded, but all to well, he would find. A pair of feuding, larger tribes had taken their newfound joviality as a sign of weakness, and so chose involve Langston's tribe in their perspective imperial efforts. It was not long before his tribe had was struck from both sides on the very same day. They fought long and hard, but were eventually overwhelmed, killed and taken to the last man, Langston himself. In presence of a sudden storm, and a fit of rage, Langston suddenly ripped a tree from it's roots and began clubbing enemies by the dozen as their blades glanced of his body like a child's toy. In the course a day, every enemy as dead, dying, or fleeing, and Langston was alone. It was at this point that he swore to defend the freedom, happiness, and laughter of every person, and it was at that point that he began a very long walk.

Is it selfish that I'm happy as we pass the setting sun?Can I ask if Rabbit is still open?
Bímíd ag troid le chéile, bímíd ag beo le chéile.Yes it is.
Is it selfish that I'm happy as we pass the setting sun?Awesome. Hold on...
Bímíd ag troid le chéile, bímíd ag beo le chéile.Name: Blake Kanin
Age: 20
Appearance: Blake stands a little shorter than average (to his eternal annoyance), with a not overly muscled build. His eyes are deep blue and his meticulously-spiked hair is a very light blond.
Personality: He is generally easy going and relaxed, taking everything in his stride. In this way, he is also easy to get to know and can be a good friend to have. But when things go down to the wire, his cool persona disappears and Blake becomes much more serious. He can also be very superficial, particularly about his appearance: if his hair isn’t just right, he becomes downright moody.
Sign: Rabbit
Powers: Blake has the power to create identical clones of himself. He uses them in battle to confuse the enemy, or to attack from multiple positions. The copies are limited in that there can only be a certain number at a time, they are less skilled than the original and they are incapable of speech.
Weapon: Blake uses a halberd, capable of cutting and slashing from a comfortable distance. He also has a dagger for use in close combat.
History: Blake was a musician from a war-torn country. Despite being enlisted in the local army, he disliked the unnecessary fighting and bloodshed. One day, a group of civilians were taken from the enemy nation as prisoners. When Blake learned of this, he released them from the prison, but was caught and found guilty of treason. The night before his execution, he was chosen by the power of the Rabbit and taken from his cell.
Additional Information: As a former musician, Blake enjoys making music of any kind. But he mostly just whistles, to the annoyance of some of the other warriors.
