"look O'reilly, I'm right now in the middle of a city I've never been to before, have lost a really good deal and my possessions maybe in police custody if they survived an unfortunate explosion. I need to get out of Osaka and back to Tokyo without getting the attention of the feds. The best way is by boat. I ain't risking going through a goddamn police roadblock on the outskirts of the city. You help me get what I need quick and I'll stop pestering you so you can continue whatever the hell you're doing and give you something in compensation. Okay?"

Aqua picks up on his uneasiness with her statement and places her hand on his shoulder gently. "The lives of this crew are priceless, I'd sooner lose the rest of my fortune then these men and women."

Aqua keeps walking.

Elaine quirked an eyebrow. What was going on?

"Is the hotel okay?" she asked, confused. "Is it terrorists or something?"

She'd just gotten to Osaka! She didn't want the place to turn into another Shinjuku or anything...

-Vladivostok-

"I'm telling you why this is a pain in the ass for me Gregory. It's going to cost you since honestly I have better investments right now to be attending to. It'll also take a while. This is friend of a friend pulling in favours stuff, not just telling a guy I pay to drive down there."

-Osaka Bay-

The Captain gave a half smile, still looking somewhat awkward but nodded in agreement.

"We'll see how things are once we make landfall."

-Osaka Mall-

"They didn't tell me anything more than White Oaks and a bomb. They didn't know where I was staying and I don't think they knew any more than that. Presumably it happened within the last half hour. For all we know it still might have been an accident. Whatever it was, it's over now, alright? They're not going to try again for a while."

"Ok... just do what you can alright, get this guy to help as quick as you can alright? the sooner I'm in Tokyo, the better compensation you get."

"Hopefully they'll just need us to just pick off the misfits, the sooner we finish here the sooner I can safely reinvest in stocks within Area 11." Aqua said as she stopped to look at a display screen.

"Guess we're all looking for a place, then," Walter said. "Well, when the driver gets back with my wallet, I'll have him take us to another hotel. Or have you folks ever gone camping? There any good spots around here?"

Naoise had been trying to maintain the impassive facade of a professional government agent when they'd arrived, wary of letting anything on to his potential interrogees. As Sean masterfully pacified the obviously very distressed mother, however, he couldn't help but smile a tiny bit. After a couple more beats, though, he realized that he still didn't know exactly what their role in all this was.

"Hey, Brosnan." The orange-eyed man caught his colleague's shoulder and turned him away from their civilian 'audience' in an effort to make sure they didn't catch on to his confusion. "What're we doing here, again?" he asked quietly, "We questioning all these people in full view, or just ones that get flagged? Nice job with that woman, by the way."

Walter whistled as he waited for a response.

"Camping sucks," Elaine shrugged. "I think there's a brochure that details good spots, though."

"Well then, let's wrassle up a brochure and find a good spot." Walter said.
