I'm sure I'd enjoy it, but during the summer sale there will probably be meatier games at the same price or cheaper. Here's hoping that Kingdoms of Amalur, Anno 2070, Rayman Origins and Arkham City get some hefty discounts.

Arkham City will certainly go on sale. Waiting to see if the DLC is cheaper, want the newest one.
I'm stacking up my wishlist with Paradox Interactive and other nation building games. Also found one really cool looking Universe simulator and some RP Gs like the King Arthur one. I just hope I have one of the games I can get special achievements in already, so I have a shot. If the Paradox titles drop low enough, I might buy some of them outright.
I swear there were a bunch of games I wanted before, but now I can't remember any of them.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I will probably buy my Paradox games outright when they go on sale, since they're the ones I'm really focused on right now, and the odds of winning free games on Steam aren't the greatest.
^^Don't worry you'll remember them when they come on sale. And you'll remember a few more too.
I never knew I really wanted to play LA Noire.
I did hear that Amazon is going to have a sale starting July 1. I suppose something to keep us busy while waiting for the event.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.God damn it Gaben! It's July and still no sale! Why have you forsaken us?
I don't know if the world can handle two big Steam sales a year. Having a Summer Sale in addition to a Winter sale will cause global bankruptcy.... unless that's what Gabe's trying to do.
It will make Valve rich, but it won't bankrupt the world. Us gamers aren't everyone, and the ones on Steam aren't even all gamers.
Everyone, just please be patient, I'm sure if there's a sale, it will be soon enough.
What do you guys think the chances of Skyrim getting a hefty discount is? It's currently $90 on Steam, but I saw someone one eBay selling Steam keys for $40. (I'd rather get a key than wait for a shipped box) Get it now and risk it going on sale later, or wait? I'm torn.
C'mon, Valve, start the sale already! It's like they don't even want my money.

Given that the Dawnguard expansion came out recently, I think the chances are good Bethseda will allow Steam to give a good deal at some point during the sale - though I doubt it's going to be a huge one.
I heard someone says the sale might start on Thursday...based on that other sales also started on Thursday...not sure how good this will be though...
Give me cute or give me...something?That's too late! I'll be stuck at work for the whole weekend by then!!!

Once again, Midweek Madness ending at 4 Pacific. Yep, it's going to be at the 12th.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.Lame, by then my holidays will be over and it's back to class. (It's actually winter here, so I have even more excuse to stay indoors and play games than you Americans do!)

At least you still have days off...due to hell that is the flood last year I'm still in the middle of my midterm right now...
Give me cute or give me...something?Well the Steam special right now is focused on the recent C&C games, just in case anyone's interested!
Just make sure to stay the hell away from C&C4 though...

Eww, Command & Conquer. I liked the early games but something went wrong along the way.
C'mon, Steam! Your reputation is on the line!
If they'd at least put at warning label on C&C4, or keep the price at $50 in comparison to the other C&Cs on sale - hopefully some folks just might pick up RA 3 or C&C3 instead and save themselves the torment!
What's wrong with C&C 4?
A lot. No bases, really low unit caps (6-8 units total unless it's infantry), no economy to speak of, always-online DRM (even if you're just playing the singleplayer campaign), weak campaign design, the rock-paper-scissors balance was over-simplified, and to top it off, it ends the Tiberium series without answering most of the questions the fanbase had and left a crapton of plotlines dangling.
...Needless to say, the fanbase was not happy with it.
Its a stellar example for showing that "innovation" does not always equal "good".

WHERE IS THE STEAM SALE GABE?! I WANT MY DAY Z!
Don't get me wrong. It's a wonderful 7 hour long single player game. Key word: 7 hours.
