Ch. 233 is out, and next we're going to see... Kagami v. Akashi.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Wow, never saw a thread that is operated by pretty much only two people.
I just want to say, that the first anime opening, Can Do, is just awesome. I actually set that up as a ringtone for my phone.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. We're also the only ones reading the manga (that post here anyway, LOL).
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over. You should see the Space Brothers thread. For a long time I was the only one posting there. XD
Yeah, the anime's OP is frickin' awesome. Even visuals-wise.
By the way, Chapter 234 is out. Stupid, stupid Kagami.
Finally read 234 now. Wonder how Seirin responds.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Chapter 236 is out.
237: the 1st qtr ends and it's 21-all!
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Ch 238: CONFIRMED.

I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Any guess as to what Furihata's going to do? He's the other first year that went in from the bench during the Kaijo match right?
the only counter to the Rakuzan player's misdirection is for #12 to bring all the attention to himself, and he's guarding that player as well, and thus the Rakuzan player is also 'paid attention' to.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Nice to see Mayuzumi is very different from Kuroko personality-wise. Also ability-wise, but it doesn't seem that Kuroko is planning on letting that stay that way for long...
I kinda think that Furihata's just there as a placeholder.
He's guarding Akashi, though, not Nu Phantom.
Chapter out!
Furihata's basically bait to force Akashi to drive to the inside, where he can't use his Ankle tripping tech because of the lack of space. I doubt this will last more than a few plays, it's a brittle counter. Then again, to see Furihata score, it's a good feeling.
Mayuzumi was seriously stupid, letting Furihata score a freebie.
The latest anime episode was horrible, seriously annoying to even watch. I don't mind the writer being a bit creative with the specifics of play when it comes to sports anime and these regularly go over the top, but then there's just stuff that's too stupid. The only way for this to resolve in at least somewhat sane manner would be for Teppei to go to the judge with those bruises, I mean they're too obvious.

Is that the team Cheatyface match?
Yep, it's the match with the cheating bastards.
New Chapter! It's the Darkest Hour moment.
... Is Seirin gonna win this? If they lose, Kyoshi's gone from the team. And going from typical Japanese High school stuff, so will the rest of the 2nd years. So narrative causality states that they should win this time, buuuuuut... This is harder than Deimon versus Shinryuuji in Eyeshield 21.
Honestly, this chapter kind of bored me. Because I'm 99% sure it won't stick.
Finally able to read chapters 246 and 247 lol.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.248 is out.
It was going to happen eventually. The question is how.
I have a guess.
They focused on Mayuzumi to do the lowest-stats-guy strat, but the real kicker is forcing Mayuzumi to go all out. Once he's going all out, his phantom powers fade, and kinda like a tug of war between the lack of presence, Kuroko regains his own phantom powers.
Still, loving that they're finally counterattacking. However Kuroko did that, if the explanation is good, I'll take it.
My guess is something along those lines. Kuroko purposefully pissed off Mayuzumi to command his attention... then bam.
Holy craaaaaaaaaaaaap.
Akashi frozen in indecision = best thing ever.
That it is.
