Who wanted to meet him anyways?
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.Read and find out!
Also, yay for hammy Joramun!
By the way, Shadow, I do hope you realize that the wildlings are basically a bronze age society... Ten o'clock is an authorial estimate; they don't actually have clocks or anything.
On that point, it';s been nagging at me that since we're pre-Andal invasion, really everyone should be bronze age... but I don't think it's worth worrying about.
As for cyvasse, since the game you're playing doesn't seem to bear much resemblance to the elephants/trebuchets/dragons/mountains/horse-archers/crossbowmen game Tyrion plays in ADWD, easiest thing would be to go back and change the names. Call it "the game of thrones" if you like
@Mage: Yay, more mysterious letters! We should be penpals.
@deathy: honoured to see you've quoted me twice
Re: Lidless Jack (had his eyelids removed by Marys years ago after he Failed a Spot Check) — I'm pretty sure I'm Failing Biology Forever in having his remaining "good" eye basically healed into the skin of his face, deadened and unmoving in its socket but still functional, but you've got to admit it sounds cool...

Wow, I sure have missed a lot.
I'm a bit confused as to what Brysanna is going to do. She's just been wandering around so far. Also, I'm pretty sure she's the least important member of the group.
I kinda feel the same...
At least I have that whole direct contact with a king thing going.
It was a difficult delivery, now it's growing up mean and strong.Yep. I wonder what's going to happen next.
Well, I'm going to ask before posting...
Is it okay if I jump ahead to the end of the meeting, or are important things going to happen during it?
It was a difficult delivery, now it's growing up mean and strong.@Trololio, how about giving her some personal sidequest to be getting on with? Maybe something that could turn out to be dramatically important later on. Or a flashback, or something to give her some characterisation? I had fun writing a flashback for Rodrik.
Sounds like a good idea. I'll try to do that in my next post.
I'm discovering there's a fine line between character exploration and stockholm syndrome.
I just sketched out what a stretched-out human skin would look like, including an anatomical drawing of where you'd have to make the incisions. Then looked over my own shoulder and thought "dude, what the fuck?
Um. Wow, that's really getting into it.

It made sense at the time... I wanted any descriptions of it to be accurate. For example, I now know that you'd need a second crossbar at the bottom to attach the feet to if you wanted to keep tension through the-
I'm not helping my case, am I.
...
So anyway, I'm wondering how Gurmish this'll get. Will there be a giant slaughter of important characters at some point?
It was a difficult delivery, now it's growing up mean and strong. And now my search history includes the phrase "weight of human skin".
(8-10 pounds, if you're wondering.)
Oooh... if we die beyond the wall, can we come back as wights?

You remind me of the Medic. Next you'll start removing people's skeletons!
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.@john: I could do that.
Also, I only quoted you once, but the full quote couldn't fit in my signature, so I put the end of it in my title.
@Trol: You could have her do something on the side, or go and get hit on by her brother.
@Chris: Feel free. Nothing important will happen until the end.
Huh? What's that thump about? O.o
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"I accidentally hit send way to early.
Ah
:P
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"And it's completed, now, btw. It wasn't even half-way done before.
Blurghy....Does anyone have a reference map of Winterfell's architecture? (I'm assuming that the Maester's tower is beneath rookery/ravenery.)

"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"
Better, but there's still someone at Darkly's tent asking for permission to enter.
