I think that (1) this page should be merged into Trading Card Game, and (2) The Problem with Licensed Games should be expanded to include non-video games too.

Trading Card Game is just a redirect to Collectible Card Game, so I agree. :) I think we're finally mostly on the same page now, so maybe we're finally ready for that crowner.

As for expanding another trope, that's really a topic for another thread. The Problem with Licensed Games doesn't have the TRS tag on it, so interested people won't know to come comment. But I have no actual objection to the idea.

Bumpity. Okay, as discussed in its TRS thread, The Problem with Licensed Games now also covers non-video games (such as trading card games). So I think we should go ahead and merge this page, as suggested above [up][up].

Wait. I'm confused. The crowner doesn't seem to match what Spark 9 was suggesting. Did I miss a step?

Yeah, I thought the suggestion was to merge Trading Card Lame's description into The Problem with Licensed Games, and move the list of TCG's to Collectible Card Game.

Added that option.

Votes bump. Looks like the merge and move example list to another article option is leading.

Calling as 17:2 in favor of

Merge the description of Trading Card Lame into The Problem with Licensed Games and move the list of TCG to Collectible Card Game.

which is mutually exclusive with the other options. Make it so.

I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.

Did the crowner option that was selected (I feel that The Problem with Licensed Games's description needed only a little whittling), but what do we do with Trading Card Lame? I think of redirecting it to The Problem with Licensed Games, since it's redundant now.

Redirecting sounds like a good idea. Also, I've noticed that Trading Card Lame has a lot of zero context examples. Would it be better to just ignore them when moving examples to The Problem with Licensed Games, or should I move them and then comment them out?

Move and comment out. It's probably possible to save something there.

The Anime and Manga folder is done. I'll start on the rest once I get some sleep.

Merge is completed, wicks are cleaned up, the main page is redirected to The Problem with Licensed Games, and the laconic is cutlisted. I believe that's everything. Hollering for lock.
