Newsies: The Musical:

Newsies, the Disney musical based on the cult hit film, has recently won two Tonies for Best Original Score and Best Choreography. What are the differences between the movie and the stage musical?

There are a few new songs, and Sarah gets replaced with an Intrepid Reporter named Katherine who actually affects the plot. I believe the lyrics of the existing songs were also changed somewhat.

Hope they didn't make him into a tenor. He was a baritone in the movie, right? Santa Fe is pretty flatly in the baritone range.
