I definitely prefer the collage to the Joker.
So, this is where the cheekbones are pronounced to an almost skull-like quality? Collage is much better.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I don't think the current image is too bad, but the collage is much better.
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn! The guy on the right (Christopher Lee as Dracula, if I'm not mistaken) isn't as pronounced as the others...if we could make a new collage with just the first three, or sub in someone with more prominent cheekbones in the fourth panel, that might be an improvement.
The fourth guy looks pale with red eyes. so he looks evil to me. However, I agree that his cheekbones are wanting.
If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead? Here's a version with Dracula replaced with the Lord of Darkness. He has both more pronounced cheekbones and a more evil look.

Well, The Joker's look from Batman: Arkham Asylum has more pronounced cheekbones◊... if only a bit moreso.

Moon◊I'm loathe to include the Joker because his face is so distorted...there's got to be another skull-cheeked character out there that we can use.
Here's yet another version, with Anton Ego from Ratatouille in the fourth slot.

That works. A significantly different style, but still the same feature visible.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. Can we move the first panel to between the third and fourth (of the latest version, naturally)? 'Cause then we get the line of eyes slanting upwards properly. I like the image.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. It gives me the creep but I like it.
If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead?Isn't that the idea?
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. That's why I like it.

So, is this consensus enough?
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Yeah, I was gonna put it up last night and got distracted. From L-R, it's Lee Van Cleef from The Good The Bad And The Ugly, Frollo, Tarkin, and Anton Ego? If that's correct, can someone put the caption up? I won't have time right now.

Alright, the pic and the people are up; locking up.
I don't think the picture of the Joker on the Villainous Cheekbones page illustrates the trope well for two reasons: First, there is no emphasis on his cheekbones in that image. It's just the Joker smirking evilly. Secondly, the way he's drawn, the pointy ends don't even look like cheekbones - they just look like very angularly drawn cheeks. The page originally had a much better image (still displayed in the archived YKTTW entry) that showed multiple characters. I suggest going back to using that image or, for an image that emphasises the cheeks a little more, this image I edited together:
