Hell, even the image text doesn't support the trope.
The picture is funny, but I don't see the trope. It's more misleading than anything. Also, it kind of reads like a demotivator or something.
Only you can Support Pulling!

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I support pulling too. This isn't even a case of keep until something better. It definitely doesn't fit.
It's a cropped demotivator with the caption text unchanged — see this GIS. That should at least be rephrased if we keep the image. The picture is amusing, at least.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. Can we do an instapull for being a demotivator, but edited to get away from that by technicality? It's sort of like removing the lower 10% of a single-panel comic just so we don't use the entire comic.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. No we cannot since that means it's not a demotivator anymore.
Rhymes with "Protracted."^^ The point of doing that is to make it not a demotivator. It isn't a technicality. Whereas the motive for avoiding single-panel comics is to avoid using a "substantial portion" of a work, the motive for avoiding demotivators is to avoid demotivators.
It's really weak though. Sometimes that strategy works, but sometimes it does not.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think we should pull the image because it has nothing to do with the trope.
The pic demonstrates the wrong trope. I had to read some of the examples from shows I'd watched just to figure out what this trope was, because the description and the image had absolutely nothing to do with each other. I pulled the image.
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!Anyway, let's pick a new image.
This is kinda hard though, since it requires two things - something happening bad, and a character who is away reacting to it.
Clock is set.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
Definitely not the trope it illustrates.
