Thing is, by definition a blooper isn't an actual trope. Bloopers are mistakes. Trivia stuff. Blooper Reel is more of a trope.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.We shouldn't catalog bloopers. Other sites already do so exhaustively. (And they're not tropes.)
So cut the list from the Blooper page?
One question: Is blooper medium-specific?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNot really. It does occur far more often in live-action, but mistakes can happen during animation too.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I'd rather keep the examples on Blooper (they are Trivia after all), but I think that this needs some serious Entry Pimping if it has so few wicks. And maybe a few redirects to make pimping easier.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThis is more of a term definition than a trope. Pretty much any performed medium can have bloopers, even things like the nightly news or a reality show, and a list of them would be effectively infinite. Heck, even just a slight, unremarked stutter over a single word would qualify.
We're not here to catalog bloopers. I think it's harmless, but I don't see why we should go out of our way to entry-pimp it. If people really want to add things to it, that's fine, but I don't think it qualifies as a need. I see no real reason to encourage, discourage, or even, really, waste time on this. It's got nearly 100 wicks. I think it's fine the way it is.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Yes, I agree there. Whether bloopers has examples or not is of rather little overall effect, especially if they are shunted off on the trivia tab.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI thought "blooper" specifically means a boo-boo that is presented for humorous value by the producers?
That's just presenting a blooper, often in a Blooper Reel.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. So we basically have a trope page for any and all tiny little mistakes a somehow acted work can ever have? Uh...
It's a trivia page, not a trope page. So, why not?... :)
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.I don't think every, single example will be added. We can probably re-evaluate if the page becomes too crowded, but until then I don't see a problem.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Or maybe just the most memorable ones, though that'd take a bit of discussion to decide.
Given that we're willing to collect gigantic lists of "things that some fan somewhere has been able to interpret as gay/lesbian innuendo", I don't see a problem with collecting lists of actual mistakes in works. It's not really on-mission, but it is at least related to works, and it's not subjective nonsense. I think we can let this expand if it wants, even to the point of having medium-specific subpages, should that become necessary. I just don't think it's important enough to justify a big special effort to expand it. I think the status quo is fine here.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. Also, the problem here was underuse not overuse (=misuse). Except than by entry pimping bloopers, I don't see how to fix this.

Suggest going ahead and closing this thread as well.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Agreed.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Yes. I think we can lock this up.

Seems weird to me that Blooper only has a scant few examples. Bloopers are all over the place, and yet we've only gathered a bajillionth of one percent. Hell, even on something as simple as Wheel Of Fortune, the Blooper list on the trivia tab is more than a screen long.
I say call this an Omnipresent Trope and remove the example list. There are already dozens of sites that list bloopers in every medium, so maybe we could link to some of those. If a work has a blooper, put it on the work's trivia tab but not on the Blooper page itself.
ETA: This may double as a "Not Thriving" since 25 people and 90 links seems really low for something so omnipresent.
