And, as of Young Avengers, Loki looks a bit like his movie counterpart(I still love that Hiddleston actually read Ji M to prepare for Thor. I even think there is a picture somewhere of him holding the issue of YA where Loki becomes older somewhere on the web).
My ranking of Loki(the character not the stories) is probably: Ji M!Loki<OS!Loki<YA and Ao A!Loki<Future!Loki<Pre Death!Loki
He is one of my top five Marvel characters after my big reread this year.

I liked him in Young Avengers but I haven't read him in much else.
Also kind of funny to me that the Young Avengers get to go around calling themselves the Young Avengers but the Great Lakes Avengers got a cease and desist.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe Young Avengers have contacts in the Avengers proper though and did have to prove themselves first.
The GLA were led by Hawkeye and Mockingbird for a while.
I mean, I understand why it shook out that way. I just find it funny.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIt's because the Young Avengers are competent. It's OK for them to use the Avengers name when they're not misfits.
And Loki is an awesome hero. He's so much more interesting as a hero than as a villain.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Which is why we got Future!Loki in Ao A so we can also have an evil Loki. He will probably be dead by the end of next year but moments like this◊ are golden.
As an aside, I know Angela is getting an ongoing after Original Sin(Asgard's Assassin or something like that?) but do we know if Young!Loki will have one before AXIS(which is still stupid)?

Loki: Agent of Asgard will be continuing after the current Original Sin mini, yes. Issue #6 comes out this month, with him fighting Doom, and I'm pretty sure it's solicited up to November (the most recent ones we got).

Aren't Loki and Doom ex lovers or something?
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsWell Loki and Doom fighting is a part of SIXIS so his book should be important
Half of the YA are lost children of actual Avenger members. It is practically their birth right to bore that name.

3/4 are. patriot was the grandson of prototype captain america, girl hawkguy choose the name, iron lad as kang, and hulking's dad was an avenger but a honorary one after he died.
I'll also point out that the GLA got a cameo in the 'every Avengers ever' JLA/Avengers crossover.
So yay, they count enough for the purposes of an incredibly inclusive crossover.
Forever liveblogging the Avengersthe great lakes heroes are truly the heroes marvel citizens deserve. incredibly crappy ones
I think even the GLA are more than the marvel citizenry deserves.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWhich begs the question; just who do the Marvel citizenry deserve? Forbush Man?
Every YA had some connection to to Avengers, until the recent run brought Mis America and Prodigy. In my joke, I was only counting the ones that were directly descendant of an Avenger, which makes 5 out of 12. Then again, the original team was 4 out of 7, so it is actually over half.

I guess the marvel citizenry, at their worst, might deserve the Sentry?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMarvel Citizenry deserves fuck all. See how they get along for one month without superheroes. Pretty shitty, I bet.
My various fanfics.I wouldn't go that far. Still, perhaps if a mass wave of gamma radiation suddenly turned all the heroes into Jerkass Hulks...
I've said before, living on Marvel Earth would be terrifying. Living in any world with superheroes would be scary. But it's important to remember just how much damage Marvel's heroes do. The current Fantastic Four run has been exploring that.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Yeah, I would rather live on DC!Earth than Marvel!Earth.
...Wait, I live in Sweden so I would be totally fine in either world since no heroes or villains are from here(seriously 99% of Marvels heroes are from the USA).
Actually... now that you mention it...

I'd rather live on Marvel!Earth than DC! Earth, given how damn incompetent most of DC's Britain is.
Well, Mephisto and Comic Loki have a pretty recent history of co-snarkery, thanks primarily to Kieron Gillen's Ji M run.
