It's jarring? When he has Thor and the Skrulls talking like that? Thor and the Skrulls?
The digital sales of Legacy are in and...it debuts at #3 behind a normal issue of Saga and a Cyborg focused Metal tie-in.
Oooooooh!
You and I both know that Marvel doesn't look at digital sales. Now, once the physical sales come in, then we can share a round of "oooooohs".
Doesn't Saga usually sell better than most superhero comics anyway? I mean, isn't it one of the best selling comics currently printed? Doesn't seem too surprising that it would have good digital sales.

Very deserving I say.
These Metal tie-ins are fantastic. The Dark Knights each have very interesting origins & it helped that the art in Murder Machine was epic. Very excited next week for Dawnbreaker.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."How does a story about seven evil Batmans feel ten times more genuine and less shock-valuey than Secret Empire?
I'm shocked that I'm enjoying Dark Nights.

probably because there wasn't massive build up, and it isn't OUR Batman who is evil, while it was OUR Cap, still don't understand why people are so angry
advancing the front into TV TropesSo, with the FF coming back in some capacity, I have to ask: What is everyone's favorite Fantastic Four run? Mine would be John Byrne's. I read the heck out of it when I was a kid and I just started reading it again. I want to check out more of Walt Simonson's run, just because that one issue where Reed and Doom have a time-travel duel through the pages of the issue is brilliant.
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]Hickman's for sure. I liked Fraction's FF spin-off too, but not his actual Fantastic Four run.
Hey, I'm just popping in because I heard Secret Empire finished. Could somebody run me a quick summary of how that worked out? Cap isn't on my list, but I was curious how that whole thing would end.
I admit that I'm never into the F4. The only exposure I have are the two movies in the 2000s.

Where there's life, there's hope.I'm not a big fan either, but I like them as supporting characters to the MU as a whole. They're a really good crew to just have around whenever you need them. As stars in their own book on the other hand, that's when things start to get a bit dicey.
Mr. Fantastic is indeed the smartest person in the universe.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."But just how dumb is that universe?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Well he's currently in a universe or setting that is only himself, Sue, Franklin, Valeria, and the foundation kids.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSo, not the smartest person, then.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. Also Lunella exists.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe least smartest person, then?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Isn't he smarter than Sue?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Probably considering the end of Secret Wars treated her as being bemused about the whole thing. About the whole everything that happened.
Secret Wars was not a good showing for Sue.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersReed is the samrtest oerson whereever he is at. If hes smarter than lunella... well they will probably make her be but we dont know for sure just thst she solved a shape puzzle the not smartest person made and thst makes her number 1
Kobik brings back the real Steve Rogers and he beats up his HYDRA doppelgänger.
Correction, she brings out a mind copy of Steve from right before Standoff and gives him a body of hardlight.
The entire thing is confusing so I'm just gonna say she brought back the real Steve. Lord knows the issue itself isn't interested in clarifying things.
It's a style that works for certain characters. I think it was mostly fine in stuff like Ultimate Spider-Man or when he's dealing with hard boiled or street level characters.
The problem is he then has people like Thor and the Skrulls talking like it too, and it's jarring.
