Is Thor still a doctor?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Okay, but if it's godly gold, then what exactly is some random Earthman supposed to do with it? I don't think there's really an Asgardian bank stationed on Earth that's willing to exchange godly gold for plain old regular gold, is there? Really, what would even be the point?

Plus, isn't gold practically worthless in this day and age?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Possibly relevant: http://www.cbr.com/goofiest-moments-archive/
I remember as a kid taking the comics completely seriously, which is probably why I never realized how much of a jerk silver age characters could be. XD

The Protomen enhanced my life.U.S. Avengers is really fun. Why do I get the feeling people are gonna flip out about Golden Skull?
So Carol was totally right, because if she hadn't stopped Thanos he would have killed almost every other hero.
I mean, there's a difference between preventing a genocide and throwing people in jail under assumptions.
Kamala stopped a dude from rampaging down the streets in a tank. That's different than busting some dude for thinking about putting a stink bomb in his school.
I also loved that Thanos killed Hydra Cap before anyone found out about his secret in that timeline. Though that also means Dani can't warn the present heroes.
×3
Why would they? Speaking of, Gold Skull is a pretty fun villain and it's ironic that it's revealed that he might be the Green Skull's son, since i was thinking that Gold $Kull was a better alt Skull than Green Skull.
And over at Ultimates Squared, Loved Lord Chaos, Master Order and In-Betweener becoming Logos!

Will that mean someone will step up to be the new publisher? Or can Dan still juggle that responsiblity?
Bunn's next book is a Monsters Unleashed ongoing starring Kid Kaiju and Elsa Bloodstone. Give no shits about the event so, skip!
I don't know it's the first event in a long time that I'm interested in, it's not hero vs hero, or a piss poor fantastic four finale, it's just giant monsters fighting
Shocking.
The opening was a little thin but it certainly wasn't bad.
Today!
ANXM #17 was really sweet. A very cute story about Bobby and Romeo, which led to a Big Dramatic Smooch and a Big Dramatic "Fuck This Noise" regarding Iv X. They may have had the right idea.
Ultimates 2 #3 was great. I love what Ewing's doing with the new universe characters, the ways he's implementing them into the Marvel Universe in clever ways. I want a First Eternity Battalion mini. I also love Ewing's take on Order and Chaos, especially Chaos, who's just delightful.
US Avengers #2 has Squirrel Girl in a tux. Squirrel Girl. In a tux. Also, Captain Danimerica is always great, and her offhand reference to team-ups with other versions of herself is something else I want to see. Dammit, Ewing, stop teasing us with awesome stories we won't get to see. Also also, Ewing turns Golden Skull into a thinly-veiled hit on Trump, and I love that. Especially because Golden Skull. Ewing obviously didn't plan that. But sometimes, the universe shows it loves us. Beyond that: SQUIRREL GIRL IN A TUX.
Captain Marvel #1 is really good. Like, better than I expected, and I was already expecting it to be good. But it was great. Stohl came out swinging. Solid humour. I love the Cap'n Marvel TV show, and I would kill for an annual where Carol, Jess and a couple others do an MST 3 K-style commentary on an episode of Cap'n Marvel.I want that so much. But there's also a really interesting plot developing, and great character work. Assuming Stohl sticks around, this is going to be a great book.
Hellcat #14 is still wonderful. Ian tells his toxic ex that he's done with her, buh-bye, and it's great. You go, Ian.
World of Wakanda #3 was all about the romance, and it was sweet. I like Aneka and Ayo. But we also got more of Folami, and that's always good, because Folami's great. I am so eager to see where her story goes.
Gamora #2 is a step up, but it's still not really great. It's trying to be clever, but comes off cliched. Also, why couldn't L'Wit have been less conventionally attractive? Why did she have to be a human with a slightly weird forehead? Why not make her more reptilian? Making her so pretty just feels lazy.
Mosaic #4 is great. We get to see his feelings on Spider-Man's Power and Responsibility mantra. Spoiler: He thinks it's bullshit. Which I love. It demonstrates just how far he is from being a superhero. That's not the path he's going to go down. Which makes for an interesting story.
Captain Samerica #18 is good. More about the unjust justice system, and Sam standing by his values, and damn the consequences.
Star-Lord remains fun, though this issue has a disturbing lack of abs. There's an old guy who is my spirit guide: "'Out' is just bigger than 'In' and doesn't have my stuff." I salute you, cranky old man. Also: Ms. Marvel! Yay! And Brand being awesome!
Invincible Iron Man #3 is good, but I gotta say, a lot of the credit goes to Caselli over Bendis. Because he nails the facial expressions all through the issue. Not all artists could do it so well. If Deodato was on this book, it wouldn't be half as enjoyable. So, yeah, major props to Caselli. Though Bendis does a really good job with the writing, too.
So Monsters Unleashed #1 is really fun. Lots of big dumb action, with an intriguing mystery, and Elsa Bloodstone for flavour.
Black Widow #10 is one for the Bucky/Nat shippers. Nice of Samnee and Waid.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I remember that Bunn "MU" teaser. Remember when everyone thought it was going to be "Mutant Universe," the X-Men getting shipped off to another reality? Good times.
Remember when I asked whether there was a event where all the Avengers ever came together to kick ass?
Well, it turns out, THERE WAS ONE!
It's called "Destiny War" and it has every version of every Avenger from every alternate universe, ever, fighting their evil counterparts for the fate of the the multiverse.
Good. Lord. This is what I wanted all this time and I didn't even know at the time.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Monsters Unleashed is pretty fun and i am loving the monster designs.
Monsters Unleashed is the crossover we needed, just dumb fun and really colorful.
I haven't read Gamora #2 yet, but man it seems like only Star-Lord can work as a solo character...which is fine but still...
With Gamora, it's not that she can't work as a solo character, it's that I don't think Perlman is really sure yet what she's doing. She's not bad, but she's not great, either. There's a lot of clumsiness, a lot of cliches, a lot of general weaknesses to the writing. And, I mean, that's fine. This is Perlman's first time writing a comic. I'm not sure what sort of work she's done, beyond writing the screenplay for the Got G movie (though Gunn did heavy re-writes to that), but this is her first comic work. And some people have more trouble adjusting than others. I hope Perlman does keep writing comics. She can use Gamora as a learning experience, and try doing something at another publisher, and come back to Marvel in 2 or 3 years for something new.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Marvel announces Black Panther and the Crew spinoff series.[1]
...Wait.
Wasn't The Crew a series featuring an ensemble of black superheroes that got cancelled before the first issue could be published?
(Reads The Crew page.)
Yes, yes it was.
(Reads the part of the article that says this Crew is inspired by that Crew.)
Well, how about that?
Huh I wonder how Christopher Priest feels about this.
He's currently over at DC writing Deathstroke which is pretty good btw.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well, I'm glad they haven't given up on giving Black Panther a family of titles. This one looks like a winner.
He probably doesn't care. He's mentioned in the past that while he's proud of his Black Panther work, he dislikes that it basically put him in the Minority Book Ghetto at Marvel and DC. He says he only ended up doing Deathstroke because he turned down the Cyborg book DC offered him.
Thor has no excuse
He can spare some godly gold
Forever liveblogging the Avengers
