Oh, fancy meeting you again.
In any case, you're in the wrong subforum. This is for Visual Novels not regular novels. You're looking for the Literature subforum.
Full Battle ModeI'm confused. Do comics not count as visual novels? I mean, I saw it and I figured it meant graphic novel or something weird like people like to say. Does this mean something else? I deleted the welcome PM without really reading it.

More pluck than an Alabama banjo festivalOK, sorry. The only forums I've really hung out in so far are the Western Animation ones, so I don;t know much about any of the other ones. Searched the forum titles with the wrong words, I guess. Thanks for helping me.
More pluck than an Alabama banjo festivalMan, I thought there is a historical visual novel and a bit disappointed.
My hatoful Monster Girlfriend is the President Ecstasy: Higurashi After in Summer (All ages memorial edition)In most comics, the words and pictures are integrated. In most visual novels, the words are in a dialogue box, and the pictures are on a separate screen. (There are a decent number in which the words are superimposed over the pictures. But only a few products, such as Littlewitch's NSFW story Quartett!, integrate words and pictures.) Wikipedia has a decent article on types of VNs at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_novel
Are there VNs with historical settings? Yes, there are. Look through the list if you want, keeping in mind that Sturgeon's Law is just as applicable here as anywhere else. If you have time, perseverance, and passion, you can of course create your own. Use your favorite software program and get writing...
Thanks for the list, I guess my enemy isn't only Sturgeon's Law but also No Export for You.
My hatoful Monster Girlfriend is the President Ecstasy: Higurashi After in Summer (All ages memorial edition)You mean this isn't a Visual Novel about the Kennedy assasination, co-produced by Oliver Stone and Ryukishi07? Now I'm disappointed.
First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.I'm sorry. Is there a way to delete this so I can start this in the right place and no one else will get confused? I didn't mean to mess you guys up. I'm relatively new at this.
More pluck than an Alabama banjo festivalCan't a mod lock this thread?
"Strategy? Spacing? I just keep punching until I hit something." - Sol BadguyI'll holler. I didn't before out of sheer laziness.
Full Battle Mode
So, I found these at my library and they were a lot of fun. The last page is literally the guy saying this is just starting to get interesting, when I find out the series was never completed! Anybody else out there feel the pain?
