I like it, and cover/promo art is (I think) always fine. It exists to be displayed in its entirety in as many places as possible.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. It's a little cluttered, but certainly works.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I think there is an Iron man one
@OP: I think it's pretty much the same as with promotional posters - since we're more or less using the cover to promote or otherwise spread awareness of the work, it's well within copyright provisions to use it.
If I remember this thread tomorrow, I'll try looking for an example from Cat Planet Cuties, in which a gun is vaporized out of the shooter's hand during a hostage situation.
There's also El Cazador De La Bruja, where the main character pretty much only does this.
Clock is set. The OP suggestion would work better if we could find a larger version.
A cursory GIS reverse image search has told me that this is the cover of "La Ballade Des Dalton". A GIS for that turns◊ up◊ several◊ options◊, although looking at it, I think I'm partial to this scan◊; slightly low-quality for the large size, but will probably be relatively high-quality at wiki size.
I'd crop out everything but the picture, though.

Moon◊Looks good.
Clock's up. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged; caption at will. Locking up.
This◊ cover of a Lucky Luke album might make for a good page pic. I'm not sure how copyright applies to album covers however.
